Thanks for the Video.

Forget the FDA. They are never going to base decisions based on whats best for the people. They base decisions based on what politician or big business has their hands onto/into the product, and/or how their decision will make that politician or big business the most money. Just what we need (like most everything else), more big brother, more regulations.

That researcher should go research the many "non profit" health systems who manage to profit 400 million a year, if not more.

Well, I'm glad your step-son mentioned the less harmful aspects of vaping. And getting off hookah (I hope).

That article, however, is full of ANTZ crap (video didn't play for me either...maybe ad blocker in the way)

I was attracted to flavor as opposed to nicotine or buzz content,” said Watkins, whose experience working in hookah lounge piqued his interest in e-cigarettes.

Among his treasure trove of flavors are Irish cream, banana taffy, blue raspberry and one called sugar lips, which Watkins described as cookie-like.

Flavors like these concern researchers like Dr. Robert Jackler, the principle investigator for the Stanford Research Into The Impact of tobacco Advertising.

Those are all designed to link in new smokers, young people, that want to experiment, but they’re experimenting with something that’s flavored as though it was a lifesaver [candy] or a mocha drink and so it helps to get them caught in the nicotine,” said Jackler.

And more false blah blah blah follows. Because we all know THR advocates don't want flavor.... /sarcasm
Grrrrr

Keep up the good fight.

Hmmm...is my browser broken? I can't seem to find any video...

Seems it was related to my browser, used another one and was able to finally see the video.

Your son did do a good job. Was he nervous? I know I would be :p

Just once I'd like to see a story comparing an analog to an ecig. That it truly is the lesser of two evils and how positive it can be for people to use this as an alternative to analogs. Anyone seen a story like that?

Oh God, we have to save the kids, blah blah blah. Even if they start up on e-cigs, that's still better than them starting on smoke stix. I bet they can't come up with one ad directed at kids. Fun flavors marked toward children, try created by vapers to enjoy the vape more and kindly shared with the masses. When are these fear mongers going to realize they have overplayed the save the kids card and no one is buying into it anymore?
