My thoughts on atomizers and cartomizers

I can't believe I've been vaping all this time putting up with atomizers! The constant filling made me insane. Carto's , cartomizers, you have solved all my problems!!!

I don't mind filling with a needle, my batts wear out before my juice! Nice warm vapor, but device itself seems to stay cooler longer. After a few minor tweaks, it's ready to go. I am now still using the same clearomizer for 10 days, and it's still good. I got some of those silver carto things, and they are great too!!! No problems. No tweaking for that, just fill. Filling can be a bit more difficult because you can't see it.

Maybe I'm behind in using these new things. I did get clearomizers a year ago and couldn't figure out how to use it so it went in a drawer.

I was a diehard Boge cartomizer fan for almost 2 years then suddenly found that I could taste the filler in them. Really ticked me off too. I'm a recent clearomizer (ce2's and eGo Vision cartos) convert. I can't believe how much longer they last vs the filler type cartos. I don't mind messing with the ce2's for a few moments to get them to wick better, much better than tossing a carto every two days...less expensive too.

I'm all about the Genesis movement as soon as my Zen~Atty U is ready, but will always keep some ce2's and eGo Visions around for back up or taking out with me.

Well the cartomizers and the atomizers go through phases. For a while the atomizer technollogy was much better than carts or cartomizers. Then the cartomizers caught up with atomizers. Now with the Hybrid Atomizers such as the HH 357 and the i06 306, atomizers are my friend again.

Now I am just waiting for someone to make a good reliable atty tank, shouldn't be much longer. Cisco and Hanna are working on one right now...

Dan, what makes thos atomizers so much better than the old version?

Well the HH 357 is an amazing thing. It's hand made, and does away with all that mesh foil, bridges, and extra wicking. I bought 4 when they first came out, and they are all 4 still in rotation , and still work as well as when I got them over 6 months later. That is why I think they are worth the 22 dollar price tag. I usually drip these on the darwin, but soon hoping to pop them in an atomize tank. There are specific instructions for working with these on the site, care and cleaning and all that jazz.

The ikenvape i06 at 1.5 is the one atomizer that I have fallen in love with, they are about half the price, but after you order specific drip tips and all that the price goes up. I also enjoy the warmth of the vapor even on the REO Mini at 3.5v under load. They are just like a 306 in appearance, but they are bigger like a 510.

Honorable mention goes to the Ikenvape SS Cannon Version 2. They put a 510 connection on a Mini 801 atomizer. I use all my atomizers on bottom feeders or drip rigs, then the Cartos in tanks on my tube mods. Boge 2.0 and 3.0 cartomizers are the best made.

Also fallen in love with the 1.6 ohm Giant Dual Coil Cartomizer from Nhaler. Got it on my Darwin and the thing shuts, and holds 3 mil of juice.

All these things they have are just getting out of hand....so much to try

I just got a vision, and I loved my CE2 Map tank, and this is a really good vape. I just loaded a flavor I didn't like in it. Need to try again.

Hell yes that's dirt cheap! I'll have to go look those up. I bought mine from Litecig for $4.95 each and though THAT was a good price.

My only 2 complaints with the eGo Vision is a bit of muted flavor and cool vapor. I did get the LR version from Litecig, don't now if they messed up my order or what, but they've all been 2.5 to 2.7ohm. Hope to find them in TRUE lower resistance form.

that is an amazing price. they sell for $5 or $6 a piece elsewhere.

Yeah I got the SR as well, and I hear that the 2.0 2.3 is the way to go. Like most ce2's you run them at about a volt less than a cartomizer and 1.5v less than an atomizer of the same resistance so you don't burn them. I have mine at 4.5 on the Provari and it's on the edge, even though it's over 2.5 ohm.
