I still consider myself a vaping newbie as I have only been doing it for about a month now. My last drag off an analog was about two weeks ago, and I actually did end up throwing up. Granted, I was quite hammered at the time and was well on my way to ralphing anyway, but the cigarette put it over the top and now I associate smoking my cigarette with seeing the last two beers and half dozen wings I downed that night. Needless to say my smoking days are over. Up until I discovered ECBlend.com, my go-to vapes had been whatever is left of Smokeless Image's watermelon, cherry and freedom cartos and Johnson Creek's Ranier and Solstice. I'm reusing the watermelon and cherry carts for the other fruity flavors I have, and the freedom carts are staying freedom carts, since that flavor is not really generic and I have a 15ml bottle to get thru. I have found that 100% PG is a tad too harsh and dry for me. I tried JC Red Oak line flavors and 100% VG is very not-harsh and "creamy" is really the best way I can describe that vape. Tons of vapor and I find it enjoyable, but I still want a TH of some kind. I am now trying PG/VG mixed and think I have found a good common ground and after the SI flavors and JC flavors are gone, I will stick with a PG/VG mix (except JC Solstice, I <3 that flavor). On to my thoughts of specific flavors. All of these were drip-tested using a Smokeless Image cartomizer with the polyfill removed.

Before I get into flavors, actually, I want to talk vapor. Everything you have read about PG vs VG vapor levels are true. The PG juices don't put out a huge amount of vapor, but it's not bad. The VG blends tho. Holy crap, watch out. The vapor cloud is opaque for a few seconds it is that thick. I'm not telling you anything you don't already know so that's all I will say about vapor with any of these flavors.

-Smokeless Image watermelon and cherry 12mg-
After trying lots of other flavors I have determined that these are just ok. Kind of generic-tasting, but not bad. I find myself sometimes vaping these flavors like a cigar instead of actually inhaling. But again, the vape feels dry and "chalky." I won't buy these flavors anymore.

-Smokeless Image Tobacco Flavors 12mg-
Of all the tobacco flavors I have tried Freedom is my favorite. It's sweeter and doesn't taste too nutty like the others I tried. I tried the smooth sampler from SI and I really really really wanted to like the tobaccos. RY4 and 555 seem to be favorites among the vaping community but I really was not a fan of either. I also really wanted to like Desert Joe. It tasted like a campfire, which is not all bad, as I love the smell of fire. But something about it I just didn't like. I think maybe, like I found with the other SI flavors, it's just too dry. If this flavor was available in VG I would probably give it another shot. Country/Cowboy was ok would be very tough to say no to if it were available in VG. I bought a 15ml bottle of Freedom before I branched out to try other flavors. But I don't regret it. I still enjoy it but after I get thru the bottle I probably won't buy another.

-Johnson Creek Red Oak Ranier 12mg-
This flavor is JC's 100%vg take on cherry. I can't really say I taste a whole lotta cherry, but the flavor is good, maybe a tad bit muted with my cartos, but I do enjoy vaping it. I would have to think long and hard about buying another bottle when it runs out.

-Johnson Creek Red Oak Island 12mg-
Yuck. Horrible. I took one drag and hated it. I took a second drag to make sure and I hated it even more. This flavor is JC's take on a pina colada. I don't know. I definitely tasted a hint of pina colada but overall it was just gross. This bottle is currently in the mail back to JC in exchange for a bottle of Marcado. I'm excited to try that. JC customer service is really good. They sent me a UPS return label within 24 hours of notifying them I wanted an exchange and they will exchange it for me free of charge and even cover shipping.

-Johnson Creek Solstice 12mg-
My favorite vape thus far in my short vaping career. It is fruity with a tiny mint aftertaste. The mint is not overpowering, just enough to get a cooling sensation on exhale. It is a fantastic juice and I will for sure keep this one in my arsenal at all times.

-ECBlend Dragon's Tear 50/50 PG/VG 0mg- (this one came free with my order, so the PG/VG ratio and nic level are different from the rest)
Let me just say real quick that ECBlend will likely be my sole juice provider. The prices are extremely reasonable and I love that you can try tiny samples for almost nothing. They also combined my two orders into one shipment and gave me store credit for the shipping that I was charged for the second order. So I basically have a free sample of my choosing waiting for me on my next order. And the 20% off code (10020) seems to never expire. At first I disliked this juice and I chalked it up to the zero nicotine in it. I didn't dislike it enough to throw it out, so I filled a blank carto with it since I didn't wanna waste it. I took a drag after I filled that carto and I suddenly liked it. Odd. I do like the Dragon flavor, so my next order will include a few selections from the Dragon lineup.

-ECBlend Twinkle 40PG/60VG 6mg- (all flavors from here on out have this same PG/VG ratio and nicotine level. I reduced the nicotine lever as I have found I don't need as much)
I really wanted to like this one. All the reviews I have read about this juice are raving. I tried it and was thoroughly unimpressed. I don't taste any twinkie or pastry at all. I can't really describe the flavor. It's just odd. This one I will let steep for a few weeks and try again. Or maybe I'll try it again and choose the extra flavor option. I'm holding back final judgement until this one steeps and/or I try XF.

-ECBlend J Bomb-
This one is supposed to taste like a Jager Bomb. This juice is good- if you like black licorice. But that's what Jager tastes like so it makes sense. I did not detect any Red Bull at all in this flavor. I do enjoy black licorice so I enjoy this flavor. I'm tempted to try their energy drink flavor and mix it myself and see what I come up with, as this flavor will probably hang around for a while. I enjoy it, but not enough to make it a daily vape. If I find that my own version of a Jager bomb vape works I will continue to buy this juice. We'll see.

-ECBlend Bourbon-
The juice smells better than it tastes. It smells like you stuck your nose in a bottle of Jim. I was expecting big things out of this one after I smelled that. But I was very disappointed. It tastes like a watered-down rail whiskey. That was watered down again. It is not exactly a pleasant taste. I prefer to drink my bourbon instead of vaping it. This one may or may not get vaped and I won't buy it again.

-ECBlend Chocolate Mint Coconut Crunch-
Oh man, this one is fantastic. The name is dead on. Every one of those flavors in the name are detectable in the vape. Except the crunch, that doesn't make sense to me. The mint is not at all overpowering. The ratio of the three flavors in juice work very well together and satisfies my sweet tooth. This juice will be ordered again.

-ECBlend Spiked Punch-
Another wonderful flavor. Of the three alcohol-flavored juices I tried, this one is my runaway favorite. I'm not into fruity drinks at all, but this flavor works. A nice blend of fruit flavors. Fruit lovers will enjoy this one. This one will be ordered again.

-ECBlend Rum and Cola-
To me this juice tastes like the cola gummy candies. While not a bad flavor, it wasn't what I was expecting. Certainly no rum taste detectable. I'm not particularly a fan of this flavor, as the flavor is kind of light and just not really all that appealing. I am interested to try this flavor, with extra flavor and the Bourbon extra flavor and mix those. That might be interesting. But two flavors I'm not particularly fond of, extra-flavored up and then mixed together could be a thing of beauty or a disaster. I'm likely not going to try it. This flavor will be vaped, but I won't buy it again.

-ECBlend Cherry-
This is another one that tasted much better after being loaded into a cartomizer. At first it tasted like a generic cherry vape that you can buy anywhere. After filling a carto with it, I find I enjoy it more. Although that could do with the fact that I filled a cart that had been filled previously with SI's cherry and JC's Ranier. I will certainly vape this flavor, but probably won't buy it again.

That's it, folks! I am looking forward to continue to order samples of ECB's juices since they make it simple and throw in freebies. I will for sure try the Dragon lineup and am looking now at some of their sweeter desert-type flavors since those are the ones I enjoyed the most out of what I ordered the first time around. Thanks for reading!

Just received a bottle of Johnson Creek Marcado. Wow. This juice is another good one. It is supposed to taste like a clove cigarette. It is close, very close. It is very spicy. In a good way. The flavor lingers well after you exhale. It is not really good for chain-vaping, as it will numb up your tongue if you don't pace yourself. I wouldn't call this a daily vape, but it will serve as a very enjoyable vape occasionally when I get tired of my dailies. I definitely recommend trying this if you like more complex, spicy flavors.

It's long, but a good read. I felt compelled to just give a shout out to another solstice lover. I don't see much love for JC in a lot of vendor posts, and I don't really know why, it's like they've been around so long, and there have been so many vendors since, people sometimes speak of them like they're the cassette tapes of vaping. Either way, I love me some solstice and I think your description was spot on. You've actually got me kinda interested in trying the marcado now. I just had my 3 month anniv. Tobacco Free and having solstice to vape helped get me through it. Congrats on yours as well.

How long did these juices steep? It would be a complete review if that were included, as it seems you are vaping them upon receipt? Many juices you say you won't order again may just require the normal steeping time for the juice to mature. If you could include that I am sure many of us would appreciate knowing.

op, I'll just say you're gonna come to find there are much, much, MUCH better juices out there than the one's you've sampled so far. been there done that. i get the price thing, which is exactly the reason I tried one of the ones you mentioned too. (actually, i've tried 2 because the juice came with the kit.) this is not always the case (NLV, for instance) but the price thing, generally, is Milwaukee's Best vs a microbrew for a beer analogy.
