Hi, Sue. I've been doing this on a 510 for several months, and mine do too, a little. But it doesn't bother me....I mean I don't taste burnt plastic or anything. You're supposed to match up the long sides of the cart with the little white ceramic thingy at the bottom that sorta looks like a figure 8.....(not sure that's very clear....lol) Anyway, one thing I think helps is that I pull my filler up a tiny but above the top of the cart so that it makes good contact with the bridge.... I don't know, but that seems to help. Also....I use blue foam as my filler. If you haven't tried it, you should. It wicks a LOT better than the stock filler. You can see about it on youtube. Good luck. I still use all my carts even if they got a little melted.

YouTube - Blue Foam E-cig Mod Here's one. Actually, I cut my foam even smaller...I use what I call a plug. My little blue foam plugs are about half as big as his. I put about 10 drops into the cart, put the plug on top, and I'm off. It takes a little getting used to at first, but it's all I ever use and it works like a charm for me. There are some threads about it....I'll see what else I can find.

You can buy cheap (I think under $1) precut blue foam stuffing for 510/901 at StrictlyEjuice.com, Flavor Shop! and then if you like them or want to try different shapes, you can get the uncut stuff as Marineland Rite-Size U Foam Sleeve in the aquarium dept at Petsmart. I think it wicks better than the white stuffing and maybe that will keep your atty cooler. And as the others said, if you look in your atty the longer dimension of the atty bridge from here../\..to here should be lined up with the cart stuffing's longer dimension [==]

I wasn't too thrilled with the ejuices I got there so don't spend a lot there, but I hear those Kona Coffee juices are good.
