My Totally Unscientific Observations on Vaping...

**Warning** The following is the hypothesis of a well versed jack-of-all-trades, with a masters in none...

First off I've got to say after about two weeks with my little red GLV2, affectionately referred to as my "Buzz Bomb", I am in love. It does it all and then some. Props to Jay an Sara for such a fine piece of machinery.

Ok, on to my unscientific observation. Since receiving the GLV2, I've been a mix-my-own juice mad scientist, with varying degrees of success. For now, I think I've settled on a nice little coffee-caramel-english toffee brew, which has the color and consistency of very angry squid ink.

So I'm looking at the little black bottle wondering - if it goes in looking like that, what's it leaving behind in my lungs. So I decided to do that thing that every smoker at some point in their smoking lives has done, blow the vape back out through a tissue.

And here's my very unscientific observation -- nothing! There was nothing left behind on the tissue but a wet spot (eeewww!).

I know, there are several possible explanations for this, the worst being that all the nasty goo is stuck back in my lungs, which will now even more resemble an Obama-Stimulus funded freshly-repaved interstate highway (yey!), but I think not. I've also noticed that somehow vaping leaves no residual aftertaste, good or bad, no matter how hard I've chugged all day.

So I think I may have an explanation, and it all revolves around electro magnetic attraction at the molecular level. Somewhere way-back, I read an explanation for why tobacco smoke is so damaging to the lungs and leaves a yellow film on everything it touches, and it has to do with the fact that cigarrette smoke is comprised of negatively charged ions that stick to their surroundings like glue. If that's true, my theory is that vapor must be positively charged, and therefore sticks to nothing, except maybe cigarette smoke! :p

So there you have it; a positive little bit of news that may help brighten your day! Enjoy!
