My Triton Passthrough arrived!

Ordered Saturday, received today (Tues) via standard shipping at Vikwid.

It is a 900mah battery with a chrome screw off tip at the bottom of the battery. It comes with a USB cord (about 6' long). When you screw off the battery tip you plug the USB into it and a blue light comes on where the USB connects indicating it is powered and charging. The blue light goes off when it is fully charged (only took about 10 minutes so it must have been charged when sent to me).

Battery length is exactly the same as a 900mah variable voltage battery.

This is not the same as a G6 passthrough, which does not have a battery.

I love that I now never have to worry about not having a fully charged battery available. If my other 2 bats are dead I can simply unplug it and use it like any other battery.

I am guessing that for some reason the passthroughs are in short supply and Halo decided to keep their authorized resellers stocked before putting them up on their website.

They were showing up earlier in both, I think - at least I'm almost sure I checked it out last week. Maybe he bought the last one at 900?
