Feel free to PM or post any questions. Love questions, though a recent post may have implied otherwise.

Those are sweet coils! Have you ever tried ceramic wicks, like XC116? I noticed when I was flirting with .4 and .45 ohm coils that the cotton worked but I was always super paranoid about keeping it saturated, and about once a week at least I would slightly burn the cotton while I was out an about and had to re-wick or just live with it. Since I've switched to xc I dont have to worry about that.

Oh, and I've always been curious... How much juice do you go through in a typical day with that fog machine :) ? Do you DIY?

You know, I used to burn my cotton pretty frequently. I guess I've just learned when to squonk. I'll get a burnt hit once in a while, but never severe enough that I need to go and replace my wicks. With this build, I squonk about every 3 hits on a fresh battery and every 4 after it's a bit drained. When I was using a brass firing pin and a fuse, I needed to replace my battery about 3 times a day. With the new firing pin and a fuse, I can almost get through a whole day without replacing it at all. On a typical day I go through about 12 to 18 mL of juice, or two to three bottles. I do not DIM yet, but I plan on changing that some time soon, if for no other reason than to learn how.

You might (if you haven't already) want to give unflavored nic a try. It's dirt cheap and very kind to your coils/wicks.

I have considered this option. Unfortunately, an unflavored bottle is the same price as a flavored one at my local B&M, so until I start making my own juice this option is useless.

Ugly coils are like mopeds. Their cool as long as no girls see you riding them.

Ugly coils need loving too.

They say there's a coil for everyone.

That's all I got :)

I think it goes, "Ugly coils are like mopeds; they're fun to ride until your friends see."

Except, normally, "ugly coils" is replaced by... well, you know.
