I've tried cartomizers from other suppliers, and while I love the flavor they give, their performance at 3,7v was sadly lacking, especially in the vapor department. I made up for this by getting a 5v mod, and refilling with decent juice with a good amount of VG. This made them perform well enough to be my main vape, and I put away my 510s.

Last week, I got my order of V4L stuff. Inside were some premium cartos. I hooked one up to my 5v mod, and the juice tasted almost burned. I tried one of the non-premium cartos, and it was just fine. For a little while, I was wondering what was so "premium" about these other cartos. That was until I hooked it up to the XL battery I also got. Amazingly enough, it performed just as well as my other cartos at 5v! I was simply amazed at how well they performed.

I've always wanted to stock up on mods, because they always seemed to help everything perform better, but all week I've noticed that I don't reach for any of the mods I own. I always reach for my V4L premium carto and my standard VK battery. I love that I can enjoy a vape as good as 5v in such a small package, the batteries last a lot longer than my old 510 batts ever did, and the PCC is nice and compact. When I am at my computer, I'm vaping with my VK passthrough, which is awesome.

I think what I am trying to say is... I tried the VK because I was curious to know why so many people swear by them. And now that I have, I understand. I think I know where I'll be buying a good portion of my vaping supplies from now on.

I only wish I would have ordered from V4L sooner. I could have saved a lot of money.

Glad you found V4L Simon! Welcome to the family!
I think mods are a good purchase if only to insure you have a PV in case of a ...problem with the FDA. But I would hate to give up my VK! I have adapters to make my few 3.7 mods work with cartos so I am all set! I am too much of a wimp to want anything like a 5 volt.:p

Also..welcome to ECF!

Mods are devices people make to vape with instead of using the batteries you buy from vendors. Mods use batteries like AA's and AAA's from a battery store (most are found on-line) These batteries are not the same as flashlight batteries..they are what are known as Protected batteries..a step up from the normal and much safter to use in these highervolt devices. Go to the modders section of ECF to see a few. VK is looking into one for us. That will be nice.
The adapters to make the mods work with other style ztomizers and cartomizers can also be found on ECF. Many vendors sell them. I am not sure what it is you would need thogh..depends on what you want to fit what.
The VK batts are really, really good. The Extra long is almost a mod in that it outlasts most other batteries. Their new passthru is also much strong then most..that will give you a mod like feel.
Poke around the forum..you will see lots of different devices..some people have huge collections. I have a couple that I raely use anymore..I am very happy with my VK's. But they are there in case I ever need them.

I love my V4L PT, if I'm not mistaken it is 5v. I've found that the cartomizers are great at 5v on my mod but 6v a little to much. Haven't tried a xl battery yet but thinking about it. The bigger mods are a little awkward when out and about. I started out with a 510 then used adapters to use carto's. Wish I'd of done the opposite start with cartomizers and adapt to 510's cause I do enjoy an occasional 510 drip. When I leave the house though it's strictly cartomizers, the only way to go!

My experience with my Vapor King has been awesome! I was able to quit my 22 year, 1/2 pack a day Benson & Hedges addiction on day 1.:) I probably wouldn't have even tried an ecig had it not been for FSC's. They tasted horrible, made my lungs hurt and gave me headaches. I am now finding myself vaping less. I don't know why, I love vaping but I am not going to try and fight it. I just pack to XL batteries with premium chocolate carts and I am good for all day. I buy the dark chocolate liquid and drip until the cart is bad then toss them. Pretty easy.:pop:

first off welcome to the fourm
and i bought a mod that vapes at 3.7 but the battery holds it at 3.7 longer like the xl does.
doesnt burn then unless i hold the button down to long the xl has a cut off of 10 or 13 seconds the mods dont.
you can only hold the button down for 2 to 3 seconds with 6 volts any thing longer you get that burnt taste and with the premums they are built to heat up quicker for the kr808 batterys from v4l so on your mod with prem cart dont hold down the button at 6v to long

I just received my package this weekend and haven't touched a cigarette since I charged the batteries. It's my first experience with vaping and I'm relieved to say that it's pretty darn enjoyable and something I can see sticking with . Ordered the manual xl kit on Thursday and it arrived, Saturday. Vapor4Life has really impressed me and I will definitely order all my stuff through them.
