Hi, I ordered $51.08 Vamo V2 Variable Voltage Rechargeable E-Cigarette Starter Kit - 2*18350 / stainless steel / US plug at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping .

Ive had it for about a week. Been using it during the day and charging it overnight.

The other night I fell asleep with the batteries in my vamo, woke up the next morning and put them on the charger. Normally when the batteries are charging a red light is on. When they are finished charging it turns green. Well NO light turns on now. My charger is plugged into the wall and the green light is on, but when i put the batteries in it the light turns black aka no light at all. I let the batteries sit on the charger for a good 5 hours they are not warm, they are not getting charged. why not? did letting the batteries sit in the vamo overnight drain like all the charge from them to the point where they cant be recharged? idk

You can always pick up a disposable until your order comes.

I always order batteries for a reputable supplier that just carries batteries.

Yup, your charger destroyed your batteries. Here is my two cents on what probably happened: You sometime used your 18350 in pair sometimes on their own and then put unevenly charged batts in your "unintelligent" charger.

#1: If you stack your batteries, you always have to use them in pairs they are now married and can't be separated, if you do separate them, you can't use them in pair ever again.

#2 Get a good intelligent charger like nitecore or XTar.

This would've been a better long term buy.
$51.54 Vamo V2 Variable Voltage Mod Kit - with Nitecore I2 US battery charger/charger cable/1*Sony 18650 battery at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
The charger you bought is very low end and prone to failure. With the Nitecore you'll notice a much shorter charging time and the batts should give a better/ longer vape. I ordered the FT Vamo V3 with Nitecore and Panasonic batts a year ago and they still work great.
Anyways better the charger failed while you were awake- safety wise not a good idea to leave batts charging unattended.

I understand buying under a tight budget, but batteries and charger are the most important accessories in your vaping setup. The charger and batteries that come in that kit are crap, plain and simple. And you may actually be lucky that they just stopped working, and didn't cause a fire.

Saw a local news item last week in which a woman had left her generic ego battery to charge in her bedroom. The next thing she knew half her house had burnt down. True story !!

That can really happen with any sort of batteries you charge. That happened to my sister charging her laptop. It didn't burn her house down but caused damage.

Never leave batteries charging unattended.

Contact Fasttech. They do offer some sort of warranty I think. Maybe they'll switch it out for a different charger.

ya i did, told them to wait a couple days untill i get my new charger and battery so i can see if the old batteries will charge in the nitecore. if they dont, i will ask for new batteries. if they do then ill just say !@#$ it. im not returning that crappy charger just to get another crap charger lol

Is this it:
"The fire was as a result of components from different e-cigarettes being used together along with an incorrectly rated charger.

Fire chiefs advise only using the charger supplied with your kit, not to mix and match components from different e-cig manufacturers, and never over tighten a battery on to the charger."

At least the Fire Chief stated that the incidents were a result of improper handling of Ecigs. Unfortunately many don't understand the batts are abnormally stressed when vaping.

I don't think it is no.
