Sounds good, Got the SS Vamo V2 myself, from Vapor Alley, after the first 2 i got elsewhere (wont name any names) were junk out of the box. But my new one i got about a month ago works perfect everyday, the only thing you have to watch out for is the center pin. Theres a lot of posts about the pin in the Vamo getting pushed in by some tanks especially the Vivi Novas. I personally use a Smoketech Version of the Vivi Nova 2.4Ml with the spring loaded center pin, so i don't put any stress on the pin. For me, spring loaded pin tanks is all i will use on mine..

Just got my Vamo from fasttech today. The good news is that it is definitely a V2; it has the fat gold spring in the battery cap and the red washer around the positive post. The bad news is that it is definitely not the stainless steel version. It is just like my chrome V2 Vamo, but a slightly darker color. No swirl in the metal body, and another fingerprint magnet.

I put it in N02 mode, threw a protank on it, set it to 8 watts, and it hits great, just like my other Vamo.

Did you order the one that said it was SS or the one that just said it was silver?

The SS. I checked my e-mail receipt that fasttech sent me when I placed the order. I'lk send them an e-mail but I don't think i'll gi to the trouble of sending this one back to Hong Kong. lol

I had that exact same problem with 2 of them i got from Smoktek, ordered the first on SS, it came with the updated spring and red isolator for the battery, the top half was SS but the bottom cap and the removable section to run it in short mode was just chrome. Plus it came with scratches all over it and it was dented, looked used. RMA'd that one and they sent me out another SS Vamo V2 and it was the same thing but worse, half SS, half Chrome. And this one looked like someone used pliers to take the pressed on top piece off. I gave up on them, used it for a couple of weeks and the screen died, and the minus button wouldn't work. So i went to VaporAlley for my 3rd Vamo, and omg it was all SS, brand NEW, no scratches and even came in a black velvet carrying bag. Upgraded spring, Red isolator and even the bottom cap was SS... Should've went with them to begin with..

I had to return a fasttech mobile power box and they gave me a address in Miami to send it to, shipping is refunded they told me.

Glad to hear that your Vamos are version2. I couldn't really tell properly from the photos, but went ahead and ordered one yesterday.

I've gone for the black chrome version, all my other PVs are either black or chrome, so it should blend in nicely

The price is superb, it's almost half the price of most UK vendors, I should have ordered 2 really

The chrome Vamo is smooth and slick. The SS version has a swirl pattern and is a better metal.

If it's a fingerprint magnet, which will be obvious, it's chrome
