Hello, I am fairly new to vaping, my first vape was a Ego-T which was a utter failure it was terrible and I still have it. It had issues ranging from leaking, to having extremely hard pulls and almost no vapor release. So I have gone out to purchase a new vape and after some research I found the Vamo and Vivi Nova both were fairly good choices. In list form here is what I purchased:

Vamo v5 kit, which included:

Vamo v5 APV
w/ 2 Vivi Nova tanks (which do have the wick and all else inside as a functioning unit)
2 18350 batteries
A wall charger
1 Black Zipper Case
1 empty needle Nose bottle
1 set of instruction (obviously)

I then purchased 2 18650 batteries off of Amazon

I then continued to purchase a 3 pack sampler from virgin vapor and 1 full sized bottle from virgin vapor which I have heard great things about.

From my view I have most of my basic needs completed what else could you guys see I have forgotten, and or would suggest for me to buy?

Thank you for your time I hope to hear from everyone soon! Glad I finally joined the site!

Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!:)

What type of batteries are you getting with your vamo (brand, mAh, Amp limit) and what type of batteries did you order from Amazon (brand, mAh, amp limit)?

Only buy batteries from a reputable supplier (not ebay or Amazon) as there are many counterfeit batteries being sold. Here are several reputable battery suppliers in the US.

* RTD Vapor
* Illumination Supply
* Lighthound
* Orbtronics

My "kit" comes with 2 18350 batteries from eFest, and I purchased the 2 18650 batteries on Amazon via amazon prime they are also IMR eFest batteries. The 18350 are 800 mAh and the 18650 are 2000mAh amp limit is something I am not so sure about and I will be needing some help with the Vamo v5 in the future on the best voltage to be using since it is a variable voltage system

I had heard that the vivi novas are pretty decent tanks, haven't heard to much bad about them but I will definitely be on the look for better Tanks

The thing with stuff like Vivi Nova is you aren't out big bucks for the sake of trying it. They are top coil - and that works for some people, and some liquids - and doesn't work for other people. (I hated them.) You do have to work at keeping the top coil and wick wet with some twisting and flipping to avoid dry hits.

You could - still can - improve your eGo T experience by getting replacement silicone tank caps instead of using the stock hard plastic caps that come with it. Makes a big difference on the amount of leaking problems with a Joyetech tank setup. Most places that carry the tanks also carry the caps in silicone.

They should be the newer ones I saw a review from IndoorSmokers on youtube and he said they were pretty good and I think grimmgreen as well says he likes them and thank you for the information susan very helpful and I will have to stay aware of the counterfeit sellers on amazon and ebay, and thank you rickajho for the info about the eGo-T I just might have to look into that solution!
