This is what I call "Pink Ice."

Start with your Pg/Vg Nic strength preference.
Then figure in 3% ripe banana, 1% cherry, & 1 drop of koolada per ml.
Some hits I taste banana, some hits I get cherry but all around it reminds me of a cherry cough drop.

After I vape a ml or 2 of this, my dull flavor seems like new again.

I've heard tell of this thing...vaper's tongue...personally I've never had such. It seems to be more prevalent among folks that buy commercially made juice. Could it be due to the massive overdose of sweeteners they add to commercial juice...or sweetener in general, commercial or diy?

I make my own juice so its not from sweetener overload because I don't use sweeteners. I think you just get too used to flavors over long periods of use.

I think I had it once hen I first started a couple months ago, I oil pull everyday, I had slacked off right around the time everything tasted dull.
Now I make sure to do it everyday, no more vaper tongue, and healthier mouth, although I think just vaping helps mouth health being PG is antimicrobial....

I don't get vapers tongue so much as I develop a taste fatigue. A few different commercial flavors. My fav if Tribeca. When I lay off it for a week or two, the wonderful taste is back. Another fav it Gravity. I'm in my lay off of it for now. Been almost 2 wks, so I may fill a tank this week end. The only flavor I do not ever get taste fatigue from is cinnamon. I can vape it everyday, all day. Mixed with anything and everything and I can always taste it.

Oil pulling is a mouthful of something like coconut oil swished around in your mouth for ten or twenty minutes. Yuck I just can't do it. It feels too nasty.
But vapers tongue doesn't have anything to do with the tongue itself but with your nose. How can oil do anything? is this just a prank?

If you have "vaper's tongue" and you oil pull, the vapers tongue will go away (or diminish substantially)...so the "doesn't have anything to do with the tongue' rumor is just a rumor.

Vaper's tongue can also be caused from soft/hard 'scorching' from the heat of the vapor.

Edit - whoopsy, forgot... one of the lesser known benefits of oil pulling is that it helps to "clear sinuses". And of course, smelling has a LOT to do with tasting.

It's the other way around, tasting has a lot to do with smelling. Try eating while pinching your nose closed.
My guess is that this oil stuff is just a troll / crank method. If you even disagree that "vapor togue" is really olfactory fatigue then you probably don't know what you're talking about. Sorry.

    Apology accepted.

The two (taste/smell) are somewhat dependent upon the other. It's a chicken first or egg first kinda thing. My grandmother had ZERO sense of smell, but her ability to taste was tested to be totally normal.

Scorch your mouth on anything hot (even slightly) and it matters not what's happening with your sense of smell - your ability taste is diminished/lessened.

Vape enough EM (or just put it directly on your tongue) - taste is lessened.

Swish a strong solution of saline in your mouth for awhile - taste is lessened.

Your guess that oil pulling is a troll/crank method is incorrect. Many vapers I know use it diminish/eliminate vaper's tongue. It's an ancient Ayurvedic healing tool and it's very effective for many things.

A lot of purfumers or tasters will "re set" their taste and smell by using freshly ground coffee and inhaling the aroma of the grinds with several deep breaths. This actually worked for me! I was so glad to finally get rid of my vapors tongue! I just pray it does not come back any time soon! I delt with it for almost 3 weeks then after inhaling the aroma of very strong coffee grounds the next day it was gone! My husband tried the same thing for his vapors tongue but for him, it didn't work as well as for me. I Think It Depends On The Person But THIS Method Is ACTUALLY proven To Reset The Taste And smell. This is why the chocolate makers and tasters also use this method. But I think it works on some and not as well on others. But it's definitely worth a try. It fixed me.
