So like I posted on my first post, I have been smoke free for almost 2 1/2 months. In the past months, I have successfully converted 4 people from analogs to vaping and it really is a great feeling, especially from an island where we have the highest smoking rate per capita in the U.S.
The only drawback is that we do not have any vape shops as of yet, so we have to heavily rely on buying online. There is a guy selling Volcano products but not the full line(of course you pay more than you do online) and the rest sell some generic kits and juice at outrageous prices. I am very happy and pleased that there are a few reputable companies such as Volcano and AltSmoke that do ship to Guam, but there are still a lot of them which consider us International so if we want to order from them, we need to pay a little more than the continental U.S. (I believe Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands encounter the same as well). Another thing is it takes longer to get to us as our shipment goes through Hawaii then finally Guam.
Anyways, it is a great feeling to not be enslaved by those cancer sticks and I will continue my journey to convert smokers.

Thanks for listening to my rambling.:)

I just found out that we can't even get Express mail here in Guam. Same USPS as the mainland and can't receive Express mail...what a bummer!! I guess they can't deliver Express (1-2day delivery) due to the location. Before anyone posts about FedEx or other carriers, yes I've tried and they all do not apply here in Guam, at least residential wise. Oh well, back to priority shipping and the 2 weeks wait.

Bummer indeed! Hope you'll be able to stock up well so you won't run out of vaping supplies. Just keep the spirit, & Happy Vaping! :vapor:

Yeah I know, it says about 3 days, but every mail that comes to Guam from the mainland stops over to Hawaii then finally Guam. It takes 5-6 days for my order to get to me from Volcano and they are in Hawaii. So for USPS Priority, I guess it takes 2-3 days from the mainland to Hawaii, then another 5-6 days to get to my P.O. Box in Guam. I ordered from Avid Vaper by First class mail because I wanted to see how long it takes if not Priority, on Feb 24 and up to this day I still haven't received it!! The last tracking I got today shows that it was processed in Hawaii today so should be here in another 5 days.
Oh well, nothing I can do but wait. By the way, seanmc, I like the PV line up you have, how long did it take you to get all of that?

Ok, I get it, that sucks then! I've been vaping since 2008...so i've had a little time to collect and figure out whats right for me. What pv's are you currently using? On a side note, thanks for the info on the shipping time, I'm having something shipped from there soon and I had no idea it took that long. I may end up having to fly out there to grab it instead!

I just started vaping on Dec 2011 so it's been 2 1/2 months, my first was an Inferno, then the Magma (ya I know, why go from big to small...it was the pcc that caught my eye LOL), and finally the Lava Tube, all from Volcano. Still waiting on my Maxi roughstack v2 from SmokeAnywhereForPennys in North Carolina, they just sent it earlier today so I'll probably get it within 2 weeks. I'm not so sure about outgoing mail from Guam, it might be faster than incoming mail, but then again you never know. You have relatives here or just waiting for something you ordered here?

The thought did cross my mind, and I do want to open up shop and sell at reasonable prices since the few that do sell ecigs here sell non brand ecigs at outrageous prices. I mean c'mon, 90+bucks for a mini-ecig kit? seriously? You could get an Inferno kit online for 75 bucks!! Talk about ripoff!! So I have been trying and currently in the process of securing finances. Will let you know if I'm interested though.

If you do open up a shop, you'd be way ahead money wi$e by ordering from China. Just anticipate the extended shipping time. Good luck!

Good job on the Lavatube, heard good things about them as long as you use the AW batteries with them. My mom is buried at Togcha cemetery so I'm in the process of having her cremated and shipped out here since my dad passed away last week (we want to bury them together out here), so the timing is important for funeral arrangements. You should most def start a small business out there in Guam, product is cheap enough wholesale. If you need any advice or help PM me, I can set you in the right direction (I used to be a supplier here on the forums), it's going to be hard to recreate a Pugua flavored e-juice though for the old timers! haha.
