My vaping experience so far and help with getting into RBA's

Hey, I have been reading this forum for a few weeks and I now have ran into some issues I have having trouble searching for the answers. There is a wealth of info here and its a little overwhelming. Im gonna run down what I have done so far and what I intend on doing.

I went to a local shop and spent about $130 on some basic crappy CE5's from china, and some crappy flavors. I knew that things could be better so I did some research and ordered me and my wife MVP2 as well as using basic BDC tanks. I wasn't happy with the cheap Chinese coils that kept breaking on me, so I went online and found ibtanked. IBTANKED sent me a bunch of gears, complete tanks and 2.0 OHM carts. Things started getting a lot better. I have been generally happy using carts, but every time I want to change a flavor I have to throw out cart and clean tank and it was a hassle. Did some more research and just got a HH.357 LB atomizer and its GREAT! Great flavor and vapor. So I like dripping, and now where do I go.

I have done a lot of research, and I work with computers for a living so I have built a them and feel capable of building coils. There are so many options for getting into RBA's its overwhelming. Here are my needs, I would like to use me and my wifes MVP2 for now, So I believe I can build down to 1.3 OHM. Eventually I would like to get the 50W IPT2 or similar VV/VW so whatever I get into I would like to be able to use with that and maybe try subohm. I want a dripper that works well and is one of the best. I don't mind paying more to have a great quality product. I don't like tanks because it seems like there to fiddley and I will still use cartos most the time. So basically I need a really high quality dripper. I have seen KayFun and Russian but idk I don't want clones I want something really good. Please advice on which way I should proceed. I also seen the Vision Eternity which was cool because it doesn't seem to have a tank but it can hold 50 drops, but the reviews say its a poor product due to leaking and quality control. I need something that I can also change flavors on when needed. I don't care about price, just leave me several options if possible in different price ranges.

If you are looking for an RDA (Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer) that holds a good amount of e-liquid then the Infinite Magma would be your best option. Tons of places have them such as eciggity and 101vape and the clone is made very well, some say as good as the original. BTW the Kayfun and the Russian are not drippers, they are rebuildable tank atomizers. They work very well but are not good for switching flavors often.

If youre strictly speaking drippers, my votes would go to Origin V2, Veritas, Magma

Origen V2: Cap fed airflow, airflow control, typically a vertical build, deep wells.

Veritas: Side fed airflow (1 hole, split), airflow control, vertical build only, DEEP wells.

Magma: Bottom few airflow, airflow control, typically horizontal build, deep wells.

As of right now i'm leaning toward the Veritas with the Origen a close second (don't get me wrong the magma is very nice). The Veritas is a competely whacky design and, honestly, its a pain in the *@$ to build, but its got one major thing going for it, it seems to be basically leak proof (that's the whole idea of the deck design).

If you're not against buying clones you could theoretically own all three of them for around $60.

101vape has both the origen V2 clone and Veritas clone both @ 14.99 w/ 1.99 shipping and you can probably find an Infinite Magma clone for around $25-30, possibly less if you can wait on Fasttech (not likely infinite).

How much can it hold and thank you both for the great info, Shows I still have a lot to learn! You guys think the clones are decent. It just doesn't seem like the much to spend to get a clone that may not perform as expected. Please elebrate on what the following is airflow control, vertical build only, DEEP wells. Where can I get a Veritas clone also, and why is it called a hybrid? Have you tried a Vertitas clone and the original and how do the comare Also whats the wait on fasttech.

I have EHpro kayfun (tank) and atomic (dripper) clones and they work great! Some clones aren't very good, but some companies make them very well, very close to the originals at a 1/4 of the price. I found a great picture tutorial for building a kayfun. Enjoy your next step in vaping!

If you want to spend some extra money (Is there such a thing?) than get the original. No difference between the two though.

To be able to change flavors at will, you'll want a rebuildable dripper. Some of the better yet reasonably affordable ones are the Patriot, Tugboat, and Magma in my opinion. You'll only be able to drip small quantities of juice at a time, whatever the cotton can reasonably hold on the building deck. This is the device that will make clouds of vapor with sub-ohm builds.

For the convenience of a tank and not have to constantly drip while you vape, I recommend a Kayfun-style tank. A Kayfun Lite Plus or Russian 91%. These are more flavor machines and not especially known to make clouds of vapor. This style of tank is more trouble-free than a Genesis-style RBA tank and has a lower learning curve.

Ok, So after more research I have decided to take the following route. I an looking for a RDA that produces good flavor and clouds, but something that isnt that hard to build. Can I buy prebuilt coils until I get the hang of it and where from, and then how do I know if they work with the RDA I chose? Also will 1.3 OHM work on my MVP2 without being capped by the AMP limit and how does single and dual coil effect that? I like the Vertitas but it seems its difficult to setup but once its setup its all good, but it also doesnt work with single coils well. How does dual vs single effect clouds too

You can fire down to a .8 ohm build on the mvp2. They don't make prebuilt coils for rda's. You probably want something with a bigger deck to build on. I'd recommend the tobh or the zenith. Building coils just takes practice. But luckily you have plenty of people here to help you out
