I'm a new vapor, been at it for about 1.5 months, i'm hooked but still haven't figuring it all out. I wanted to share my experience to get it out there since i dont know many vapors, and just maybe help another starter figure some stuff out. Starting out I felt very alone and did not know where to turn to figure things out, all websites said their device was best, the youtube reviews were confusing. I wanted to get me and mom of analogs to save money first and for health benifets second. We decided we wouldn't be able to figure it out but to just dive in.
I started with GreenSmoke, I read online that it was pretty good so we got a starter pack with one short and one long battery. Along with that I ordered a bunch of the Non flavor max carts in different flavors. We loved it, only thing is, I thought the long and short batteries were just for looks, I smoked short analogs and she smoked 100's. I soon realized the single kit (with the 1 long and 1 short) were meant to be used as follows....Smoke the long till it dies and the short will get you by until the long is ready to go again. We both smoked them for a while, but after some stress in her life she went back to the analogs. I had both batteries for me. It was great, I loved the GreenSmoke, loved the flavor, loved the cig look and smoked the carts till they went dry trying to maximize cost effectivness. About a month in I started doing some research and realized that using your own liquid would save even more money ($3 a day for the carts was nice, but I got the feeling it could get better) i learned about refilling the carts, but found that GreenSmoke had moved to a model that didnt refill easily. I figure out a few ways to refill these carts but is was very ineffective always having to remove it and put a few drops on the battery end. Also it would leak out the other side and i could never really make it an enjoyable experience. Also the batteries would always give out at the darndest time and i would find myself out drinking having to bum analogs when that happened. Regardless I LOVED LOVED LOVED being able to smoke where ever I wanted. I smoked in bars, on the train (with long breath stealth vape technique) I loved not smelling like a cigarette when out and meeting ladies and my GF (we are open incase that little bit caught your attention) loved it casue I could smoke in bed, love not having to go to another room and taking a shower every time i wanted to smoke. It got me by with the jenked dripping while i did research and waited for my Ego-T to arrive.
From several web and youtube searches I went with Ego-T LR type B on a 1000mAh battery. From what I read and heard I figured the 2ml tank would last me at least a day as I peged myself a medium vaper and that the 1000mAh battery would give me at least a day and a half of battery life. When I first got the ego-t i was very disapointed, I thought the flavor sucked, but luckely that was just the primer and the nasty liquid I ordered with it. It gave cold pulls and was just lack luster in every way. I made do, I read about the wick adjustment but figured, how much could it really help with this disapointing device. Well i tell you what, i finally took it apart and moved the wick up, way higher than is recommended and its working pretty damn good. I still miss the heat from the green smoke but enjoying the device, the pulls are still a bit airy, but the ease of use of the tank is gonna get me by. Currently unemployeed and cant really afford to play with all kinds of devices, but after the wick adjustment its good enough to keep me going till i can afford to really go at it with MAD devices and all kinds of mods.
I have found out one thing though....I AM A HEAVY VAPER. Go thru 3+ tank fulls a day and the battery lasts just short of 1 day, oh well, im a heavy vaper, at least im a vaper instead of a pack a day smoker. I dont wake up coughing up nasty stuff every morning, i dont smell like an ashtray, and not matter how much juice I use it will always be considerably cheaper than smoking analogs.
I've been making do with the liquids I have, I got some Cloud9 juice from a local store (not many juice stores in brooklyn, ny) and some USA mix from healthcabin (ordered that with my ego). Getting tired of the lack luster flavors but using them, only had 1 analog today (out of habit).
Today, I am still experiencing some leaking issues with the tank, hope that is part of my heavy juice use and now that I know i will be using juice rather than carts with the green smoke I have made some online orders.
Cignot - Silicon caps to deal with leaking issues, a second LR Type B atty, some Ahneeda Fruit juice to sample cignot juice and some more tanks, blue this time

after Dr. Vapor's rave I WAnt IVAPE.net to be my juice spot, im very impressionable that way. So I ordred a bunch of 10ml bottles from IVAPE to sample, i spent more than i wanted on all this but I hope this will keep me going for a while till i can really delve into modding and such.
This is where im at right now, got my ego-t and juice on the way. I'm hunkering down till im working again and can try some new toys. Really miss hot hits, but got my ego-t working decent and will live with it for now. I'm looking forward to the future and trying a MAD Dual coil 5ml tank, playing with high and low voltage, trying some direct drip tops and I hear the flavor cant be beat and just love having variety, cant wait to have all these options available to me. Also, I will get mom off the analogs when I know more about devices and can play around till i find a solution and juice that works for her, she is very picky, doesnt like sweet and i get the feeling that most tobaco juices are a bit sweet, i think its a function of the base juice, I hope to find a juice and voltage combot in a small cig like device to get her loving the vap.
But all in all, I love vaping no matter if its perfect or if im settling a bit. I still have 1 or 2 analogs a day out of habbit or when im cranky, but ugh, today i only had one and managed to get thru half of it before i couldnt stand the taste. I cant wait to get my Ivape juice. These "whatever i could find" juices im working with now are so lame, i'm excited to get the Sweet caroline, people speak so highly about it, also to explore fruit and drink flavors. I hope the flavor comes thru as I hear the ego kinda kills flavor, if i can feel the flavor ill know im good.
