my weird tongue just cant taste chocolate

I agree, jalapenos or banana peppers, clean the vapor tongue. and make the next hit much more tasteable. but i dont have an issue with chocolate. but you might want to give it a try just to see if it makes a difference

Ok I have come to the conclusion that I just can not vape chocolate...EVERY chocolate vape that I have tried steeped/unsteeped, dark ,sweet, mixed with mint/ fruits/ nuts , different PG/VG levels just taste musty to me. Other seem to be able to taste the chocolate with no problems but I cant...I love to eat chocolate and can taste it fine when I eat it...even telling what type it is ...but I can not vape it...Has anyone else had a problem like this ?

KjAthena, I have/had a similar problem--doesn't sound exactly the same. I sampled a chocolate at my B&M and thought I liked it, brought it home, tried it and it immediately went in my "Nasty Taste" box. (See? "similar" but "not the same"). If anyone has tried (and it has been years for me) some of the first "low calorie" chocolate candies/treats, it reminded me of that A distinctly "chemical" or "medicinal" taste. It tastes like someone tried to "replicate chocolate" with chemicals and did a very bad job.

I did recently see a thread on "butterscotch" in this forum and I can't remember if it's the OP or another poster, but they said (and LISTED!) that they had tried about every butterscotch they could find. They listed stuff (I am making this up but it gives you an idea) like "Butterscotch Ice Cream from xxx" or "Butterscotch Candy from xxx" or "butterscotch coffee" or "butterscotch tobacco" or whatever. It gave me the idea that possibly a person like me--or you?-- MIGHT get a better flavor of certain flavors if it is mixed with something else, "chocolate latte" or some such for example.

On a final note, my buddy 2cool, from my own experience I would say BE GLAD you can't taste it, in my one experience it was NASTY! lol Vape on, and have an A1 Day

Kj, I too discovered long ago that I cannot "taste" chocolate vapes.

The only exceptions to this seem to be the dark cocoa juices, like Halo's Belgian Cocoa; Ahlusion's dark chocolate-and-fruit juices would probably work for me, but they have too many other juices on offer that I love or want to try, so I haven't gotten around to those yet . . .

I'm with the OP - have tried a bunch of chocolate juices and they all have a funky taste to me. Same with anything with butter in it (butterscotch, butter rum, etc.). Which is a real shame because I really like those flavors when eating them.

Sometimes you just have to move on from a flavor. You may like the idea or whatever but with the available flavorings, it may not be easy to execute or you may not be able to taste it. A lot of times people want flavors associated with foods with certain textures and that cannot be duplicated, either. Eat the food you like and find some juice you like. They don't have to be the same things. They may not be similar at all. Try some apple, pear, tea, lemon lime, cinnamon, cake or cookie type flavors. They are easier to execute, apparently.

Have you tried HDV's Butterscotch? Sweet and buttery! It is spot on.

Highbrow Vapors makes Highbrow Chocolate Cake, but you might ask for extra flavor. +1 on HHV Tuscan Cocoa, it does taste a lot like the cocoa drinks Mama made way back when. My personal favorite isn't even a chocolate-- it's a NET by HHV called Oompa. Now THAT'S a different taste, so much so it's a love/ hate juice, but I like it

well I was lucky enough to win a halo juice on a contest here on ECF and chose to receive Shamrock...I am really hoping that it will be a good chocolate flavor for me...I decided to try the shamrock because so many have liked it and being a blend of mint and chocolate I figured it would have a better chance. From what I understand Halo juices are a stronger vape...wish me luck everybody.....if this doesnt work I am just going to leave chocolate vapes to those who can taste the yumminess they can taste and stay with my teas, desserts and bakery flavors
