My wild night at Vapefest!

As some of you know I took a bad tumble at vapefest. I ended up with 8 stiches near my eye and up to my temple. At the hospital I found out my blood sugar was up to 500..that's not a good thing. I am a diabetic When I walked into the meeting room, it felt too hot too crowded and so I decided to go out into what I thought was a patio room. I saw the step but that's where it went blank. I remember a few snap shot moments..most notably my wonderful friend Cindy (Classwife). Then when I got to the emergency room.

I have a shiner worthy of a prizefighter..but what's worse is the injury to my pride..lol.
Thanks to all of you who have P.M.ed me. I will be fine, but I will have to switch how I wear my bangs!
vape fest was great ..while I was there. I met Tazcat and Tru..so nice!
I will post my pics as soon as I can see a bit better.

Wow, sorry that happened to you and Im glad you are doing better. As soon as I walked in, I felt the same way. My head started spinning and I was dripping with sweat. I told my husband that I had to leave and he knew it was bad because I waited allll year to be there and was only in the room for 5 minutes.

I said Im just going to stop at Ikenvapes on our way out. We got separated and he had no idea where the Ikenvapes table was.

While my head was spinning, I was waiting for some drunk guy at Iken's table to wrap it up. Some very nice guy from BombayVaping tried talking to me while drunk guy was yelling next to me and I was just trying not to throw up.

I snapped at super nice guy- I AM SO SORRY. I was the mess that said NO I dont want a 306!, btw.
I had to yell over drunk guy because I couldnt stand up for much longer. I started to place my order with Iken for an 801 fusion... then had to cut it short and run out of the room. I really am sorry to Iken and Bombayvaping for having to deal with me.

While I was having that moment... my husband was looking for me like a madman. He thought it was me all bloody outside and he said the lady at the door would not let him go out to take care of me.... now we know it was you. We hope you are doing better.

I ran to the bathroom, but someone was there passed out on the floor and someone was yelling for 911. Hotel staff called 911 and I ran to the soda fountain and 3 cups of coke brought me 1/2 way back to life.

Also, as we were walking from the Hilton to the Holiday Inn, FBI pulled guns on the people walking in front of us.
It was a very eventful evening, lol.

Despite me being sick for a couple of hours Saturday night, we had a wonderful time. Thank you all for putting this wonderful event together!!!

Classy said she really turned into a dragonlady for me. I wish she knew what it meant to me..it's what my family would have done.
Sophie, I am sorry you got sick too..I was hoping I took all the bad karma with me! Head wounds bleed a lot, but as much as I left there (I was told) I only had 3 drops on my blouse..the rest was on the vapestock Bag (which washed up nicely).

Hey Honey...Thank God your alright...I just PMed you but you can disregard...This answered my question...My daughter was asking about you also...At least 20 times today and more for the last 2 days... I hope you get your sugar straight...That step should of been painted yellow...I almost fell down on it when I was walking out to see if you were alright...

Was so glad to see you posting Mary Kay! We were all very worried. Thankfully Cindy was able to give us an update but it is really good to hear from you. I hope your sugar stays under control...that is some scary stuff there.

Oh and yeah...that step should have been painted yellow for sure!!!

To tell the truth I was going to stop posting. But Linda and Class showed me the error of my ways...lol They threaten to beat me about the head..gently.
The very oddest thing is that I haven't had a vape..or wanted one since the fall...not one and of course no analogs. I don't recommend it as a stop vape program!
I posted a pic of my shiner in the Women's Room. Not posting in here or anywhere else!

Don't feel bad about tripping off that step I did so myself later though thankfully I didn't hurt myself (and this was after your fall which should have warned me), it sloped down slightly, and was shorter than I expected, so was deceptive. hope you are feeling better and glad you got up the nerve to come back to the forums, there is nothing to be ashamed of.
