Hi leaford...Saw your reviews on YouTube and loved em...

Do the Smuke cartridges fit the myecig pen style cig?

Not the pen style, but they do fit his DSE-109. The Smuke is also a DSE-901 basically; it's a fraction of a millimeter narrower than the MyECig, but the cartridges are still interchangeable. Go figure.

mini 5 or so, super mini 2. just figured i'd add that in there.

Really? That seems kinda low- When you say the Mini, is that a penstyle? Or is it the step below an actual penstyle? I tested my SmartFixx Penstyle the first day I got it- counted how many full draws that I got off of 1 Cartridge, and it was 370 full draws, which amounted to almost 2 packs --3 ciggs short of 2 packs-- [provided a cigarette is 10 full drags- which I also tested and founf that when I smoek regular Cigarette, I was averagign 10-11 drags]. After that first day htough- My Cartridges are only lasting about a full day if I smoke it like I would regular cigarettes - taking just 10 full draws, then puttign it away for abotu 20- 40 minutes or so, then takign another 10 fulkl draws and so on [but it's hard to do thjat as I always seem to want ot be taking draws off the pen- much more so than I woudl with regular Ciggs-] I don't mean for htis to sound liek a promo for SmartFixx, it's just that it seems that your carts lasting for the = of only 5 ciggs seems a bit low- However, I might add that when I refill a Cart after it has run dry, the refill only seems ot last about 6-7 real ciggs or so- refilling does cut down on the length of time I've foudn- Are you comparing refills to regular smoking? Or do the MyEcig prefilled Carts only last about 5 real ciggs?

no, no, no... 2 hours of vaping, is two hours of nicotine filled goodness. I don't even try to relate carts to cigs anymore. if my vapor is dying, i top my cart off. So in all honesty, a cart can last me a week, with extra liquid of course. I have been known to sip the damn things like a pacifier though. Maybe that is why my batteries only last like 2-4 hours.

two hours of smoking would equal a mad OD on nicotine.

i already answered regarding cart life for pen and dse901 mini styles-believe me thats roughly what you can expect...a lot of ecigs perform best in the first few days or so.the atomiser comes covered in liquid.thats how the carts seems to last longer at first.and dustys right, theres no point in getting hung up on how many cigs are in a cartridge, cos it varies so much depending on length of drag, quality of individual cartrdge, how many puffs to warm atomiser etc.what you get,you get.its not an exact science.

I have a mini e-cig from SmartFixx and a pen style from myecig.com I alternate using both throughout the day. Since Monday this week (four days), I just started the second cartridge on the mini and I'm still getting lots of vapor from the same cart in the pen style.

I work at home on the computer and have only e-smoked for about three weeks (down to 1-2 real cigs a day now - yesterday was none). I use the e-cigs about 20 minutes every hour and generally puff pretty constantly during that time. But I don't take long deep drags -- more like someone described as "sipping" -- guess that's an apt description.

I'm very pleased with using both the mini and the pen style and alternating during the day. It's been working out nicely for me.

Good point about hte 'primed atomizer'. The reason I ask abotu the length of time on carts is because I don't want ot be spending an ungodly amount of money to E-Smoke. I nkow refilling can help cut down on cost, but then there's the issues with dying atomizers, havign to get mroe Carts, dying baterries etc. I'll have to do another experiment after about a week and half or so to see if the SmartFixx still gets anywhere near what I get right now- might be it won't- if so, I might have to rethink E-smokin unless I can make it work out cheaper consistently. Oh well, we'll se.

ok VP...4 days smoking on 1 minicig cart?are you actually inhaling anything?must be the ecig equivalent of an everlasting gobstopper from willy wonka...hey-i think you have the first magic electronic cig there.either that or your vapour is pitiful or more likely non-existent...i mean you did post 2 days ago that your mini wasnt working very well

nazareth,im afraid thats the nature of the beast at the moment.nothing lasts forever-atomisers and batteries will eventually have to be replaced, carts and liquid will run out.what it costs to replace them shouldnt be too bad.whats your situation?have you had failures already?well that happens.you shouldnt have to replace atomisers and batteries every week, you just got unlucky, thats common.i have an atomiser and batteries for a cig that are still going after almost 2 month, ive also had them pack up after a few days...its luck of the draw, coupled with how you treat them-i never drysmoke, for example.if you get a decent amount of liquid, you wont have to buy many carts, just re-use them.i think e-smoking is something you have to want to do for health reasons, its a hassle and expensive to start, but it should save you money in the long run if you manage it properly.it all depends on what your motivation is for wanting to e-smoke really.i know its hard at first when you have a device fail so quickly, but dont get discouraged just yet.

Thanks darcy- I'm not too discouraged yet, and actually am havign a lot of fun experimenting with homebrew smokin juices and flavors, and if I can get at least one month or more out of an ecig atomizer, that'd be fine with me and coudl actually be much less than regular smoking cost wise for me- especially refilling I think.- Yeah, I had a mini die after two days, but it's being replaced for free by SmartFixx with a penstyle which I asked if I could exchange htem ini for the pen- hopefulyl it'll last a month or more- I think it should
