A Fusion is a Boge 302d. A few other vendors sell them besides Ikenvape. Nhaler, Electronicstix, and LiteCigUSA off the top of my head. They've recently jumped in popularity for use in carto tanks. The flanged threaded part of the connector is handy for keeping tanks from sliding too low on the carto and they accept 510/901 drip tips.

Good info to know. Thought that IKV had they're cartos specially made according to his specs. Guess I was wrong.

Not necessarily. Isaac could very well have Boge running a separate production run for his Fusions that may incorporate some different specs than the regular Boge 302d. I was just trying to explain the black wrapper carto that Scott had in his picture.

Oops, sorry about that. Still some good info though, never heard of the Boge 302d before. Has me interested in trying it out for myself and comparing the two. It's crazy how much cartos are out there. Really got to go and explore the different options. Hoping some vendors are willing to sell a couple instead of a 5 pack. Makes it easier to try out a large variety of them.

The only way that I could tell is that the Fusions don't have the black wrapper around it. Only have used the LR versions and so, I double checked on the IKV for the standard version as well. IKV cartos usually have something that differentiate's his cartos from everyone else's. Even though, sometimes it's hard to tell.

My Fusions, purchased from IKV, when they first came out, early 2011, I think, have the black wrapper. I specifically wanted black, too, as my 801 are REO Woods and have brass.

According to the announcements made by Isaac and info on ECF and his site, many of his atty/cartos have some changes, in initial production, from the mass produced ones that go to other vendors, so he may have the changes/tweeks made at the same factory that produces "regular" editions.
