Thanks... I do have several wall chargers.
@Cedric212 I'm not even going to try to respond to that...lol. I didn't understand half of what you posted. I'll look for the gold standard for vaping later.
LOL, sorry about that, had to rush out of the house so I responded somewhat hastily. Basically both Ego and Kgo are pretty much the same thing, i.e. a cigar sized rechargeable battery with a switch but made by different manufacturers. Next, VV = variable voltage, this feature allow the user to adjust the voltage of the unit which in turn controls the temperature, vapor production (to a certain degree), and taste of ejuice. This feature on an Ego = Ego Twist, which was gain popularity because before Ego Twist, the VV feature was only available to certain APVs (larger sized ecigs). It wasn't until recently that Kgo came out with their own VV unit called Kgo VV. The advantage Kgo VV have over Ego Twist is a wider range of voltage control (3.2-4.8V on Ego Twist and 3-6V on Kgo VV). In addition, the Kgo VV have two features over the Ego Twist: (1) battery level indicator showing how much power is left (2) passthrough, a feature that allows you to vape while charging the battery (convenient if you sit in front of the computer whole day) which you can't do on a Ego Twist. Some people are already saying Kgo VV will soon replace the Ego Twist. Unfortunately, currently Kgo VV is only available with the 650mAh battery capacity version, but it's definitely something to keep an eye out for people interested in purchasing a Ego/Kgo.
As far as the genuine vs. clone, Joyetech is the original maker of the Ego. However, like most things in China, once a product gained popularity, clones and knockoffs will soon follow. Some would say genuine Joyetech have better quality control and their products will outlast and outperform the clones, but you'll be astonished with the failure rate of these types of battery whether if it's genuine or clone. For people who think Joyetech batteries are better should take a look at
this video. The bottom line is, most venders only offer one month warranty on these types of batteries, and since it's made in China, don't be surprised if these only lasts you a couple of months. Having said that, remember to always buy it from a reputable vender and learn how to take care of these batteries. Some simple guidelines are:
-Clean the connection to avoid short circuiting the battery
-Avoid overcharging the battery, don't leave it charging overnight
-Be gentle on the switch as they tend to break or get stuck easily
Edit: Probably too much unnecessary information...to keep it simple, just buy the Ego Twist from VapeDudes.com or AltSmoke.com (register and use
FIRSTORDER for 10% off) since Vapor-Choice.com are all OOS, and get the rest from GotVapes.com as Ralikar suggested.
