MyVaporStore.com????

So, I got my kr808d-1 kit from MyVaporStore.com just a couple of days ago. I picked this company based on the price of the particular kind of kit I had decided on, color, battery size, etc. But mainly they had by far the best price. After about a day one of the batteries will no longer work. Sometimes it will light up for just a moment, but nothing will happen. When I plug it into the charger, I get nothing. It no longer blinks at the tip when I plug it in. Nothing out of the ordinary has happened to this battery. No hard dropping, no submerging, or anything else that should damage it. I plugged the other battery into the same charger and it seems fine.

I've sent an email back to the supplier this morning and am awaiting a reply on instructions for a warranty exchange. So FINALLY here is my question. Has anyone had any bad and or good experience with this supplier? I'd like to think this is just a fluke with this defective battery and not a track record for them. I'm fairly sure that I heard about them somewhere on this site, but I don't see them in the list of suppliers at the top of the page. Anyhow, if anyone can offer any insight, it would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello neighbor and welcome!

Haven't done business with them personally, but I have sent a couple people in their direction for 808's due to the outstanding price.

Keep in mind, with all of the standard hardware (cig style) it is all being mass produced by Chinese factories, the sellers are not making this equipment. Unfortunately for us all at this point, defective right out of the box or very shortly thereafter is not unheard of by any stretch. As for the suppliers, I think the real question is how do they handle this when it inevitably arises.

I would be interested in the response you get from myvaporstore and I would bet it will be positive for you. Don't hold them responsible for the defects, they happen to all suppliers at this early stage of the game, only judge them on how they handle it once they are made aware of it.

Good Luck and vape ON DFW!

Don't intend to hold them personally responsible unless they refuse to replace it. As they say stuff happens. (Or something like that) I was just wondering if anyone had heard of an ongoing issue with what this company gets from their supplier. I'll let you know what happens.

Well why post this instead of directly contacting them and seeing what happens. I get so tired of NOOBS trashing suppliers before they have a chance to make things right! I guess it makes the NOOBS feel special:confused:

I did NOT take the OP as a rant....hard to read intent into a simple string of text. With that said, seems like you are using NOOB as a profane slur.....we all been there....even the great Chucklehead.....lighten up on new users please?

I never saw this site before. Just checked them out. Good price on 510 HV attys. I've always used 901s and just recently decided to build some mods with 510 connecters (they should arrive from madvapes today) so I ordered 3, HV 510 attys MyVaporStore. I guess the OPs "trashing" (which I don't believe was the intent) didn't take :)

Good morning fellow vapers !

I did NOT take the OP's post as a rant or a judgement of the vendor, but rather a question regarding others' experiences with the vendor.

While many of us, me included, have ordered from myvaporstore, and had great success, the OP was simply asking for opinions on what to expect.

We should all be patient with new users and answer their questions as clearly and honestly as we can. It's a lot of information they are absorbing in a short time, and joining us in this quest is great thing.

Certainly do not want to offend or chastise those new users who have yet to personally experience the great service and support we have come to expect.

raverreturns, you will hear back from vaporstore, they are a great company with great support. They will take care of you. There are great vendors listed and posting on this site.

and they do have their own forum and have long been a supporting supplier here.

enjoy the adventure and come back with questions or comments anytime.

I seem to remember reading yesterday that MyVaporStore was having some server issues with their site. Things were supposed to be back to normal by tomorrow morning, if I remember correctly. Just a heads-up in case they don't get back to you lickety-split.

*****************Edit / Update*****************

I remembered incorrectly. After searching back through the posts from the past couple of days, I was able to determine that it was a different vendor having the site issues. I apologize for the error.

Nobody making a rant or even complaining about them. I asked simply for information. Not talking crap or even putting them down. NOT ONE NEGATIVE STATEMENT! (Except, of course, for yours.) Only reason I asked is that I was considering ordering another kit because i can get it here faster than the round trip warranty. Then all said and done, I'll have extra batts around to cover me. Only wanted to make sure that there WASN'T anything I should know first.

Chill. Have some more coffee. Seems like you might need it. :D

Oh, and BTW to clear things up, I did get an email back from them a couple hours later (pretty quickly, really). Told me where to send it, what reference number to use, and to who I should address it attn. to. So I directly ordered the second kit. So far so good. Thanks to those trying to get me the info I was asking for by simply telling me "Haven't heard anything bad." That's all I needed.
