n00b help with Ego-T battery life

I am trying to stay ahead of the curve so a hardware failure doesn't bite me. I clean my atomizer (Mega-LR-Type B) every 3-4 days and have decided to always have 2 replacements on hand. I am not sure about the battery. What is a ballpark average on battery life for an Ego-T 1000mAh? As I am new to this, any advice would help. Thanks!

Every 100mah is about 1 hour of moderate vaping with standard resistance atomizer or cartomizer

I consider moderate vaping to be vaping less than 1/2 the time.

Then the following will reduce that amount of time

- heavy or constant vaping could cut the time in 1/2
- dual coil carto or atomizer like 1.5ohm could also cut it in 1/2
- less extreme LR atomizer or cartomizer (say 2 ohms) may reduce the time by 1/3

In extreme cases the time could be very short - like one guy was vaping 900mah batteries down in 2.25-2.5 hours by using dual coils and vaping constantly.


Re spares - for any ecig you depend on, you should have spares of everything: battery, charger (I also like having a charging cable at work), atomizers, cartomizers, juice

Great. I can go a whole day on a single charge and I would say I Vape pretty heavy. I am just going to make sure I have 2 batteries and 2 atomizers as spares. I already have several carts so all I need to add to that is a truck and a work charger. Thanks again!!!

I've seen some vendors list that their batteries will do about 300 recharges. I would only hope they would last that long but I'm sure they won't. What you may notice is the use time drops off on you suddenly, i.e. you are used to them lasting all day and then question yourself on a day when it lasts less than that and your use didn't change. Time to get that order in then. But you never know for sure. YMMV
