Ok so i got my setup 2day, one for me and one for my hubbie. Im on a 1.5 single carto tank, he has a ce5 both with an ego t 900mAh variable voltage battery. Mine seems to have a short, doesn't always respond when pressed (though that is an intermittent issue).....
These batts have a lcd light at the bottom signaling battery strength.....
PowerPal eGo-T XL 900mAh Variable Voltage Battery this looks a lot like the battery to give u an idea.
On hubbies battery, the lcd at the bottom doesnt seem to function right. After charging his the 2nd to last light stays on. Mine doesn't dothat and im sure it's supposed to signal an issue, but I cant find a manual......help? Suggestions?

It would help if you could post the link from where you purchased the batteries.

I do not own the specific model you are using, but it is my understanding that eGo battery light will flash when there is a short. If yours just doesnt light up, there could be some loose contact inside. Did you drop it?

If your husbands battery still fires i dont see an issue.

His still seems to work.... I dont have a link, purchased locally.....gonna talk to guy 2mrrw bout them and see what he says, just wasnt sure if anyone had a similar issue. Im trying to keep from getting a $100+ mod for hubbie until im sure he's gonna stick with it, as for me, im hooked.....officially started vaping friday, last smoke Saturday at 830ish and it made me sick....

Good to hear youre with us!

I have been vaping for over 2 months and tried pretty much every class of devices, and i believe $100+ mods do not necessarily mean better vape quality. My current setups all vape like champs and none of them goes to triple digits.

What matters most is the delivery system, in your case the ce5, and then the juice. Batteries, important, but at most third on the list. Check out Baditude's blog for a comprehensive picture dictionary of devices.

Good luck.
