I'm not sure about that wire, I don't use it, but it's common for some wires resistances to change a bit from room temp to heated. If you are running in temp mod (which again, I'm not thinking you may be able to do with THIS build, you'd use the room temp resistance to set up your TC) but some of your fluctuations are a bit wide, perhaps? Usually it's less, but again with this wire in particular I don't know, but I'm sure someone will be along to help that knows more than I do.

Best of luck, and also welcome to ECF.

Although coil resistance will vary a bit, I'm sure the ohm reader in your device accounts for some of the difference. Ohm readers work by passing a voltage through the load (coil) and calculating the resistance from the slight change in voltage. A change in battery voltage and an inexpensive ohm reader would explain the differences.

Cowtown, USA. Where the West begins.
If the screws are tight, I suspect the meter in the mod is not quite up to snuff. Frankly, that's pretty common. It is difficult-- read expensive-- to build an accurate milliohm-meter. Most of them cost hundreds of dollars and are useless for vaping as they use a current of several hundred amps, being intended to test motor windings. The few out there-- mostly lab equipment-- designed to use small current to measure very small resistances are also pricey. The cheapest I ever saw was a Franklin on eBay; Chinese made, a 4-wire Kelvin Probe type. In any event, you can be pretty sure the meter in your mod isn't that accurate.

I use RX GEN3 wit Arctic fox frimware. and RTA troll. I ve tryed with wismec frimware and does the same. As i remember , havent seen this issues with premade coils that troll camed with. Or at least the differences werent that big. I thout it may be the nickel "behavior".
P.S: sorry for my bad english.
L.E: The Ohm's resistence it goes down when i fire , close to the value i first saw when i screw the atty on the mod. So it might be a wrong read while "sleep" ?
