I like the idea of naming them after the cities in TX -

From largest to smallest in population correlating to the largest to smallest tanks -

The Houston tank
The San Antonio tank
The Austin Tank

Or to Really make the point of size -

The Houston Tank
The McAllen Tank
The Galveston Tank

or similar...

As a group, you could call them 'Think Tanks'!

(I like the alliteration in the names on this one!)

You could call them 'Smart Tanks' or 'Think Tanks' and name them after known geniuses.
