My personal preference is a cool airy vape and this allows it with ease.

I think that may be missing the point of the adjustable airflow. Rather than suiting the draw to your preference, try adjusting it to your juice. By allowing more or less air into your device, you will be creating vaccum and sucking up more or less juice into the coil. This will allow you to adjust your juice to the point where you are getting full flavor without flooding your tank.

I've had a Nautilus since early January and have to say that its a solid tank. Had some issues keeping the air flow on a tight draw as it drew in a bit too much juice causing slight flooding and a gurgle......I will say this happened when I first received it and was chain vaping. All in all, so far I have absolutely no regrets about picking one up.

Haven't tried rebuilding the coils yet which will happen soon enough. Between $15-$20 for a 5 pack is a little steep but I imagine the price will subside once production becomes more regular. Either way, a solid purchase for those who like tanks with little fuss and a big reservoir

I Got A Nautilus Last Week....It WorkS Pretty Good, Not Great. I Have Been Using It On A ProvarI At 3.8 V..started Getting Some Dry HIts On Day 3....Switched Coils And The Dry Hits Came Back...Lowered V To 3.1. Adjusted Airflow To All Settings And Still Get The Dry Hits After A Few PuffS....got jet fuel Papi churro In It...Compartively The Aero Tank At The Same Settings Gets No Dry Hits At All..Baffling Cause The Nautilus Starts Off Great But Loses Me In The Dry HitS. Baffling. I Love The Performance Overall, No Leaking Or Gurgling And Great Flavor And Vapor At First, But Just Ain't As Consistent As The Aero Or My Kamry CartO...Any Suggestions To Improve It Will Be AppreciateD Cause It Cost A Pretty Penny And Don't Want To See It In The Tank Graveyard.thanx

While I don't disagree with this concept (obviously, how could I?), I think the adjustable airflow works for me because of how I prefer to inhale. If it's "tight" (like a ProTank II with the stock base, especially on a mech mod), then the vape is warmer and/or more dense than I prefer. Controlling the "flood" based upon consistency of the juice is an additional factor. So it seems to me all three factors contribute to success with this Nautilus tank and ProTank/Aerotank.

I really disliked my Nautilus. took me 4 heads to find one that would work right. The vapor production for me was very weak, when compared to a Protank 2 with an aerobase installed. The comparisons were made using stock coils in each. I encountered constant gurgling, flooding, next to no vapor production, and dry hits. I pulled one coil from the five pack, and it didn't even have airflow holes in the center pin. It was just solid.

Now with that being said... One evening, it settled in and started working amazing. Awesome flavor, no gurgles, no dry hits, just a great experience. That lasted for 3 days. It started back to gurgling, and I just dumped the tank out, cleaned it and put it away. When I get time to try a rebuild on a coil or two, this may change. But for my experience, I wish I would have spent the money on an Aerotank to try instead. It was said earlier though, you won't know unless you try it first hand. My bad experience seems to be in the minority.

I would recommend, find it on sale if you can be patient. Or check out the classy's here.

I personally did not like it as well as the areotank(dislike dual coils and plastic tanks)....that being said both the aspire and the areotanks went to new homes and I just bought areotank bases ($4 each)for my PT and PT2's...now I have glass tanks that take PT coils (cheap) and have wonderfully adjustable airflow
The Aspire Nautilus IS a clearomizer with a glass tank, no plastic tank involved. Not sure what you had, but it wasn't an Aspire Nautilus.

I have gotten some gurgling at times with the Nautilus, thought not nearly the gurgle and spit I get on occasion from the ProTank/Aero base combo. Haven't had juice in my mouth from this one. I have found that if it starts to gurgle, I can do 1 of 2 things that seem to fix it.

1. Close up the airflow tighter and take some long steady draws.
2. Turn it upside down. Watch the leftover vapor slowly roll out of the drip tip. Once that's stopped, it's usually good to go. I don't claim to be an expert or know for sure, but I suspect this causing some backpressure in the chamber helping the extra fluid that's causing the gurgling to draw back out of the coil unit.

I've had my Nautilus for a couple of weeks now and I love it. So far, I haven't had any gurgling or flooding problems... but I'll admit that if I start noticing any sort of problem I immediately adjust my airflow.

That said... sometimes I don't get as much flavor as I'd like, but it'll eventually return after I put it down for a while.

I did the same.... Bought aero bases for all of my PT2's. With rebuilt coils wicked with cotton they can't be beat.

Love my Nautilus. Heads are a bit pricey, but I'm going to try and rebuild them when mine are all used up.

I build Kanger single coil heads with a good amount of proficiency. These Aspire heads though, I haven't been able to get even one rebuilt and work. I can build the coil just fine, but seating it in a proper location seem to be eluding me. I personally am pretty much giving up to this particular tank. I have never been able to get it to work properly for me for longer then a few hours. I am glad to hear so many other people seem to like it though. Hope my KFL+ clone doesn't prove to be as much of a hassle as this tank has been for me.
