Are you building singles, doubles, what wire, what size, what ohm, etc. Some details could help. Could be something simple like not locating the coil properly and it's shorting on the side, could be shorting with the second coil, could be legs touching the sides, ohm could be too low, etc. See what details are needed...

Thx for the response I'm using RIP TRIPPER WAY.. removed both coils, made a coil using 28ga, and sliding it in..

When you say touching the sides, what do you mean?

I mean physical touching the sides of the housing. Perhaps a tear in the filler material allows the metal coil to touch the metal housing causing a short. I didn't bother trying to rebuild any of my coils for this tank honestly. It was such a huge POS, I chose to just leave it sit. I rebuild my Kanger heads and pretty much stick with those clearo's anymore.

So yesterday I have rebuilt a brand new bdc coil by following rip tripper video. Only thing I changed was the location of the coil - I've put it in the lower part instead of the upper.

This is my first rebuild in my 4 month vaping experience and I have to say it transformed this nautilus tank. I used pt2 and pt3 with my provari mini for the last three months and it was nothing but trouble. So much so, about 2 weeks ago I was almost about to quit vaping. Then I bought the nautilus which was much better and pt2; less gurgling, more flavour. But coils were unreliable and with 100%Vg juice there were a lot of dry hits. Since I rebuilt this thing, it feels like I have transformed the whole vaping experience and I am loving it. It was super easy too!

I want to try bvc coils as well but if you haven't rebuilt this bdc yet, just do it! I personally guarantee that you will love it.
