i've noticed that it floods MUCH more often in my full size compared to my mini. In my experience, every other tank I would experience flooding in the full size, and after 15 tanks in the mini i've only had 1 flood (and that was after letting it sit for a full 24 hours (i forgot it in the closet lol)

I ran into a lot of flooding and burning on my original Nautilus, and when I borrowed a friend's mini with the new coils....still the same thing.

I eventually just switched to an Aerotank V2.

I assume you don't get flooding AND burning at the same time lol.

My Nautilus 5ml tank never floods on me, where as my Aerotank mega will flood and gurgle with only the slightest bit of heat. For example, if I leave my aerotank mega sitting in the car on a sunny day for just a few minutes while I put just a couple gallons of gas in the car, I can be assured when I try to vape it that it's going to be flooded and gurgling it's head off. Meanwhile the Nautilus tank sitting in the same car will be exactly as it should be, regardless whether I'm using a BVC or BDC coil.

I've now just learned to leave my aerotank mega at home if I'm going to be out in the heat for any prolonged period of time where the temps might be over 115f as it's not just a sometimes it will happen, but it's a "will happen every time" with the aerotank mega. This is using the same "in house" 50-50 eliquid.

Some people have reported that over-tightening the Nautilus tanks can cause flooding issues. Finger tight is the key.

Using a larger air hole could also help since the smaller holes create a greater vacuum and pull more juice in.

when I get flooding issues, I stand the tank upside down for a couple of minutes and then clean the vape conduit with a pipe cleaner.

Higher PG juices leech in more easily

When it's hot, the juice is more liquid and can make flooding issues the norm rather than the exception

I have also noticed that smaller tanks have less problems than larger tanks in general (compared from the same model of tank too).

I hope some of this helps someone.

That would be quite the feat, eh?

That's odd to hear about your Aerotank, I've never gotten a single bit of gurgle or flood with mine. Though, I do just have the original one.

My advice to the OP of this thread is...keep on experimenting and asking around! It's supposedly a great tank, and a lot of people like it...so...I had to be doing something wrong. XD

Mine does not flood but I get juice in my mouth alot. any ideas?

Inhale through the top hole instead of the bottom one! Sorry, but I had to let that one out.

If you get juice in your mouth I would say that it is already flooded unless you are sucking on it so hard, the air flow inside the coil is still sufficient for a normal burn. Else, here are my "possible" ideas and suggestions:

- Some part is not screwed in all the way
- Clean the conduit (chimney, or the part you are taking in the vapor from) with a pipe cleaner once a day
- It is already flooded.. do you get any gurgling sound?
- Your juice is so tasty it feels like you're drinking it? (Sorry, but I am a bit at a loss on this one...)
