I looked around but couldn't find an answer to my problem although I am sure there is one here somewhere.

I am having occasional issues with the airflow bottom portion of my tank flooding with juice and I can't figure out why. I take everything apart, clean out the juice, make sure the coil and chimney are screwed together properly and put it all back together but it still leaks juice into the bottom. I can get it to a very slow leak, but can't stop it all together.

This happens randomly even after it has been running smoothly and I haven't opened it or anything. It could be running fine for hours or even a day and then all of a sudden juice is leaking out of the air hole.

Any ideas here?

make sure nothing is preventing your screwing the coil in all the way.

I check, double and triple check it. :(

This can happen halfway through a tank when it has been running smoothly and not been opened, just suddenly starts leaking into the airflow chamber. It's really weird.

I just recently got a full size nautilus and I'm having what sounds like the exact same experiences as you are.

My nautilus mini's don't do that though. Looking forward to hearing some suggestions on this.

I'm sorry you are having this issue as well, but I'm glad to know it's not just me. I was starting to think I was going crazy!

I know how you feel, I thought it was strange that it would start half way through a tank and three tanks in on that coil.

I'm sure we'll learn some neat little trick or useful tip soon here.

Did you get an authentic Nautilus?

Hate to say it, but 99% of the time the issues can be traced back to some sort of copy, that wasn't manufactured to the same specifications (wrong measurements, bad machining, wrong materials, etc.).

Also, I hate to say, but I personally believe that some cloner has figured out the algorithm for the scratch codes, so they show up as authentic. I have NO proof though... just a gut feeling.

Yeah, I agree with this. I had the same issues. Love my minis, but going back to the regular Naut was just problematic. I ended up getting the Beyond Vape Silo, since it's made by the same maker....and it really is just better in every way. Honestly, that's your best bet, get a Silo. It's similar enough, still takes BVC's and is a nice upgrade. (bigger airhole that you can up it to) Do some research on it. It's a bit more pricey, but worth it if it's your all-day tank.

Interesting and somewhat disappointing about the regular Nautilus, my mini's are flawless in my opinion and I was hoping the full size would be the same.

I'll give it a few more chances just because. Besides what Guzz posted about the scratch codes, mine do check as authentic.

Thanks for the info on the Silo, looks like a nice tank.

Don't know if this will help...but it can't HURT...

I have 2 30Watt-iSticks with 2 Nauty's (for me...the PERFECT vaping combination). I use 1.8Ω BVC's, run them somewhere around 11 Watts and like best the 2nd smallest air hole.

Whenever I (infrequently) get a "hint" of gurgling (and I notice some juice in the AFC hole)...I go to the next largest air hole and turn the iStick up 1 Watt. After 10-15 hits it usually stops gurgling and I go back to my original settings.

Occasionally...I'll have to go up to the largest hole and an additional 2 Watts to clear it.

If that doesn't work...I figure it's telling me I need a new head (which always fixes it).

That's what I have too, Thanks for the tips!

if your coil is not the problem, then look at your top gasket seal. If air is leaking in from the top, your vaccuum is lost in the tank and it will begin to leak like you are describing. Aspire's website has replacement seals for a buck.

On another thread there were reports of Nauty's received with the top O-ring installed upside down.

For the top O-ring...it's flat edge should be on the glass...it's indented groove should be on the metal pitted side towards the drip tip...

I saw that mentioned somewhere and double checked mine, thanks.

I'm not a terribly big fan of the nautilus mini, but when I used mine with my istick 20w, I would crank it to 15 and take a couple of deep hits, and it would go away. Then I would go back to my more comfortable range, which is 11.

I actually have no problem with my Mini's, the full size one is the leaker, good tip though, thanks.
