Hi, New to all this, so hence the dumb questions..Please If in wrong place please direct me, thanks.
I am wondering what are safe wattage ranges for these 2 coils and does the Clapton require a higher setting than the bvc? it seems the ohm's charts get thrown out the window when vaping, as the recommended wattage is way to low to get any vapor and minimum setting is 7w on my unit. Thank you.

Start off at a low power setting and gradually work your way up taking a vape or three on each setting until you find what you like.
Be sure to thoroughly prime a new/unused head.

If you get a hot, harsh, dry or burnt taste turn it down.

I use a nautilus bvc between 12w ~ 18w with clear non sweet 50/50 liquids.
I didn't care for the clapton bvc's, but, the same applies to every delivery device combo, start off low & work your way up.

Thanks, I turned it up to 14w and the Clapton is doing much better, and it took a lot of the harshness out of the juice.
Still not sure if any better than the bvc. (too new to tell)..will have to try that at the higher wattage as well.
I also never thought it could go as high as 18w, because of the voltage marking on the coil of 5v.
So I can go higher than 5v..within reason?

I often find my volts up above 5 with a regular BVC coil. Just go up steady and be 'aware' of the flavor and vape quality.
I thought about trying some Clapton premades, but the mini Nautilus is my day-to-day MTL tank and eventually you run out of 'top end' power for MTL. (i.m.o.)
