You have to prime those coils. That is why everything that you are getting is dry and metallic. When starting a new coil immediately I put 12-15 drops of liquid in them that I am going to vape. Those coils are good usually It is true that I have had a couple I did not prime enough. Try that and you should be solid.

Just primed one, how long will it take for it to soak in like this?

My opinion (and only my opinion) is that the two Kanger tanks you are looking at are a nice vape, but have rubbish atomizer heads.

If you are vaping at 9-11 watts, then I can't explain why you would have problems with the BVC coils, other than disastrous gurgling...

What seems to be happening to them?

I think we can ignore some/many of the posts about the full-sized Nautilus. It originally came with BDC coils, which were very poor.

My recommendation would be to chance a mini Nautilus and give it a try. You can sell them on easy if you don't like them.

£17.99 should be your target price. Avoid the "usual suspect" stores as well.

Now ordering one from Amazon, hopefully not wasting money.

Since a lot of people say it could be juices causing problems, any suggestions on good juices that work with the BVC coils that I could order online?

I wouldn't enjoy vaping with unflavoured juices, I've tried them before and hated them, any mild flavours you know of? Do you own a nauty? What do you use in it?

I own a nautilus mini. What brand of coil are you using and is it a BVC?

Using genuine aspire 1.8ohm BVC coils in my Nauty, what juices do you use in yours?

I just got the Nautilus in the past couple of weeks. I am currently mixing my own juice. My ADV is DIY Hangsen RY1 - it's a mild straight ahead tobacco with no sweet caramel or nuts. I learned about it in the DIY forum.

Before I started DIY (recently) I was buying my juice from a local Vapor4Life B&M, Ry4, or Walgreens: Njoy Classic tobacco. Both of these juices worked really well for me, my brother and my wife on iclear30's. I would try other flavors from V4L, and I found lots that I liked, but if the telltale symptoms started happening, I just tossed the remaining juice in the garbage. I really don't enjoy ordering juice online only to discover that I don't like it or it doesn't perform well in my devices. Too much wasted money, cleaning, swapping coils, frustration. Once I discovered I could walk into Walgreens or V4L, hand over some cash, and vape tank after tank of pretty decent stuff I stopped searching and just stuck with it. I want to stay off smokes, with a minimum of effort, not have some life changing flavor experience. I get that when I go out to dinner and spend a couple of hundreds bucks on a great meal and good wine.

I really like NJOY Classic Tobacco and I find it doesn't screw me over, but it's kinda high -15mg nic.

Good luck in your search.

I only own the Nautilus Mini and the Aerotank Mini. The Nautilus is, by far, the better tank.

I agree with you, although I met a vaper in the hardware store and he was puffing on an Innokin Coolfire 1 (8.5 watts, set?) with Aerotank Mega. I was impressed with the vape. Very. :)

Now the subtanks are here and I can just about run 1.2ohm coils, those "old" Kangers are kind of history to me now.
