Nautilus mini blows.

My Nautilus Mini absolutely sucks. No vapor production, very little taste. I trashed the coils I received with the tank and bought replacements as some others have suggested. It still sucks. It never leaks or gurgles or any of that nonsense however.

I had it mounted on an Itaste MVP2 and tried every watt setting and every volt setting and it just never performs as it should. Oh well. Just more wasted money.
Smoktech products however rock! Their ego type batteries, ARO tanks and their Trophy tank will all produce huge vapor and flavor.

I just can't say enough good things about Smokteck products.

Anybody else disappointed with their Nautilus Mini? or Love their Smoktech products?

Funny you should say that. I trashed the Nautilus mini on here because it didn't work well and keep spitting juice onto my tounge. But with the second pack of coils I bought it became a pleasant thing to use, and I'm sucking on it right now. The lesson, I suppose, is that a bad batch of coils will drag down any clearo.

Sorry it didn't work out for you. My experience with the Nautilus Mini has been the polar opposite of yours: tremendous flavor (on par with, if not better than my Magma RDA, in fact), and really good vapor production. That said, I've found my sweet spot is 12.5-13W. If I'm not mistaken, the MVP2 maxes out at 11W, yes?

I have been using the Nautilus for a year now, recently got through my old supply of the original BDC coils it came with they worked fine, but failed randomly (1 day - 1 month) and had a couple duds. I switched to the BVC coils and it works 100% better, better vapor production, decent flavor (remember to use the air hole ring if you find the draw too light), and reliable coils (switch them every 2 weeks just to keep flavor strong). Recently got my Atlantis, more for at home chain vaping, but using my Nautilus still for out and about for now. Usually run mine at 8.5-9W with 50/50 juice. Anything I make higher VG I only put in the Atlantis.

I don't want to stir the hornet's nest too much, but did you get authentic Aspire stuff? I've had bad coils before, but it seems odd to have that many in a row.

The mini is a great, great little device. Even people I've talked to that don't care for it are still complimentary of the vapor quality. It's usually about the draw being too restrictive, which I think is a fair gripe. My buddy DeWalt helped me out with that. It's no Atlantis for sure, but it's just the amount of improvement I needed.

I've had great luck with Nautilus Minis and use 100% VG. I keep the airflow wide open, but the draw can sometimes be tight after filling. As such, I just give it a few minutes to settle down after filling and all is well so far. Sorry you had such a bad experience. My coils typically last about 2 weeks, but it depends on the juice.

The first mini-nautilus I had was terrible. I gave it so much trash on this place - but here's the thing. I noticed that the center post coming off of the top was bent slightly. I'm not entirely sure what effect that has - but I went out and bought a second tank, so much better. It can be finicky if you tighten the tank too much onto the base. Just finger tight. The coils are super iffy. Some are good, some are bad. I just can't get past how awesome the flavor/airflow is on it. Love it. Hope you have luck, or best of luck with whatever setup you go with.

How big did you drill out those holes with your buddy Mr. DeWalt?

I agree it can be finicky. I have had some great vapes and terrible vapes. Some coils work well others go out in the day. One of the best things was to stop vaping in the teens of wattage and now do 8-9.5 watts and ladder up new coils from very low watts slowly.

The Nautilus Mini is in my daily rotation - I use it for my morning vape with coffee. I've never had problems with it and I clean it and change the coil every time I open a new bottle of liquid. That works out to about every two to three weeks or so. I use Kayfuns and Kangers for the rest of my 4-tank rotation.

I started with a 3/32 and finished with a 7/64. There's not a whole lot more to be taken out, but with a 3mm ID coil in there, it's lung-able. I should note that I like a tighter draw than most for lung hits, but it seems to be about on par with my Erlkonigin clone airflow wise. I run that without the AFC ring on the bottom, btw. My coil re-build is 1.6 ohm, 3mm, 28 gauge wicked with KGD. Well, until someone figures out japanese rayon. That'd be awesome. She vapes like a little banshee anywhere from 12-22W.

What a post! :)

When I upgraded from Kanger clearos to Aspire mini Nautilus, guess what the first thing I did was?

DECOMMISSION my MVP.

Go figure... ??

Yup. Once I got my IPV mini and noticed the Nautilus performed better at more than 11 watts, the MVP was retired. I've also noticed that 11 watts on the IPV seems to be a bit more power than 11 watts on the MVP.
