Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, they gurgle. Happened to me all the time when I used them. Happened to my wife too. A little puff in the drip tip before the hit will settle it down some but don't blow too hard or you'll be pushing juice out the air flow holes. A paper towel rolled into a long, fine point and pushed gently down the chimney may soak up any overflow of juice. Do not jam it in deep as you could damage the coil. Just enough so that it wicks away the extra juice. Make sure the coil is screwed down tight on the base. There isn't one tank that doesn't have some quirk. Hope this helps.

Hello and welcome to the forum @ksf285. Glad to have you here!:)

What power level (wattage) are you vaping at?

Sometimes vaping at too low of a wattage causes gurgling. When I use to use a Nautilus I often ran mine at 15 watts (using 50/50 juice).
Hi susan, to be honest im not really sure. Im using an i taste MVP. On thursday i am biyinf a 150 watt box with a dripper set up. But till then would like to solve this problem

Which MVP (version) are you using?
What power are you running it at?

To be honest; saying you're not really sure, but you're going to buy a 150w box mod and a dripper which has to have the coil/wick built by hand is kind of worrying me.

The MVP version 2 maxes out at 11w. I would be getting gurgling all the time with that sort of power.
If you puff/pull it gently, you'll be OK (just about).

I'm not trying to be unfriendly, but safety is going to be important if you're upgrading to this sort of thing.

MVP is adjustable just hold one of the small buttons and it will either tell you P = watts ...once you see the P then hit that button over and over and it will change the watts...when you get to 11 watts then stop. That's as high as it goes. If you hit the small button and it shows V=voltage...try the other small buttonto get to P.
Make sure the nautilus mini is set to the largest airflow so you pull more air and less liquid when you take a draw. Hope this helps.

The problem was that the atomizer had gotten flooded when adding more juice, because it wasnt screwed down prperly. Thanx for the help. As far as switching to a 150, yes i would like to run a dripper set up. But they also a have tank set ups. The shop i am going to get it from teaches u who to build the coils and what settings u should run ur system@. It also has a life time warranty

I'm using the Nautilus mini on an Innokin Disruptor, and at first it was spitting and gurgling like crazy. Three things solved the problem - setting the power at 13W / 4.85 V, turning the whole thing upside down and puffing a bit on it, and making sure the Nautilus airflow setting ring is firmly set on one of the hole settings. It's easy to slide it to somewhere in between the two and then when you draw, you're flooding the atomizer.

I would upgrade, the Nautilus mini is way behind now. There's many new sub ohm tanks that are AMAZING. The Aspire Tritons are only $35 at maximum and work like a charm. Top filling compartment, adjustable airflow on base AND drip tip, nice design, holds about 3. something of juice, etc.
Depends on how you vape. For low power 8 to 12W I've found nothing more reliable than my nautilus mini. My kangertech subtank mini on occasion leaks after half a tank through the air hole since I vape thinner 70pg/30 vg on the 1.2 coils or RBA. Not everyone lung inhales on a subohm at 20 30 W with high vg.

I noticed Aspire changed the Nautilus Mini without mentioning it. They have changed the base design, adding a new element and reducing airflow. I set someone else up with the kit I have (mini and mvp20w) and noticed the design change when I unscrewed the coil. I'm trying this "new" mini for a while to see if there is any noticeable difference, aside from greatly reduced airflow. As for gurgling, at least with the original mini, that has never been an issue for me, which is why I have been such a fan of the nautilus mini.

I think the key is to make sure you have cleaned out the center piece when adding liquid. When you unscrew the base and coil, use a tiny rolled up piece of paper towel or napkin, and push it through the top and bottom to make sure all the juice is out, and then use that same piece to run through the drip tip to remove any juice there. I also use another little piece to wipe off excess juice on the outside of the coil (never stick anything into the top of the coil). You do that each time you refill, takes about 10 seconds. You can also just use a q-tip. The other thing you need to do is rinse the base out once or twice a week, as juice can build up there, and create a strange taste.

Now that Aspire has changed the base, I'm curious to see what happens. Perhaps the base will need to be cleaned less than once a week? We'll see. Right now I am just saddened that the airflow is so much worse than the original mini, and that Aspire changed the designed without notification--there is no way to know which version of the mini you'll get. I was delighted when they released the cotton coils, but they marketed them as such. There was no change in marketing or packaging for this mini "update".
