Does mama bear bake diabetic style cakes for you? If so, it's a basic yellow cake with a box of butterscotch pudding added - they have those sugar-free, right? Bake time is DOUBLE over regular cake - so it cooks about 55 minutes. It's not really meant to be frosted.....the directions were for a 13x9 cake - butterscotch chips and chopped pecans sprinkled on top prior to baking. If you can make this cake with sugar substitutes - whatever is in the butterscotch chips wouldn't be so bad, right?
I make it into a layer cake and the middle contained the butterscotch chips and chopped pecans - that way I could put chocolate frosting on it.
I think this recipe can definitely be modified.

sigh i apparently replied to the way wrong initial comment dunno what i replied to but apparently it was bad so everything i said after just went way down hill.. but basically my lappy top batt was dying i had like 5 mins left and left the power cord at home so i couldnt charge it and my phone sucks for talking in the room lol... not all that scandalous now is it
