So should I get a mech mod? I had a reason I wanted one.....but like everything else that reasoning has escaped me...

You want a mech mod so you have full control over your RAs.. It will give no amp limit (minus the limit on the batt) and you would be able to take it completely apart to tailor the parts if you would like. In my opinion, I would want a solid APV (like the provari or a ZMax with a better button) to use with anything and everything I can throw at it. Then, I would want a mech mod to use with RAs and the like.

Bravo....good answer.
Longevity and for rebuildables. I want to see what all the sub 1.0 ohm hubbub is about.
Plus I just want one...or 2.

So.....would you recommend I get another zmax, perhaps the sigeli zmax, or a vamo?

Maybe in a couple months I could get a Provari with my race track money...

I only made that suggestion because that's what I would do (did).. I personally think one should have all of their bases covered before going with a more narrow purposed mod

You're talking get a vv before getting a mechanical mod?

If you were buying a vv right now and didn't want to spend the money on a Provari, which one would you, personally, buy??

In no particular order: ST VV (probably pretty close to the Provari, but not quite), Buzz Pro, Zmax, Vamo, RSM VV, new LTs (Lambo, L-rider, etc.)
