Watched Defiance.. Definitely not SyFy junk, but I could see it doing much better on another network. Enjoyed it quite a bit though.. 8.2/10 for the pilot

Watched Defiance.. Definitely not SyFy junk, but I could see it doing much better on another network. Enjoyed it quite a bit though.. 8.2/10 for the pilot

yes i agree its definatly not the standard syfy programming... honestly thought i dont know if it would do well on any other channel as the other networks wont take the chance on programming like this. Look at terra nova while it had its issues overall it was a good story line, the ratings were actually pretty good but fox canned it because the production cost was pretty high. Then there is firefly great show all the way around and again it got canned because ratings were dropping cause stupid fox kept changing what time it was on. The only other syfy program that ever was given a fair chance on network tv was star trek and to put it on a cable movie channel would hurt there online game that is going in tandem with the tv show.

Didn't care for Terra Nova.. Don't know why, but didn't. I like Whedon, and thought Firefly could go somewhere..unfortunately the dumpster wasn't what I had envisioned. Maybe it will get brought back to life sometime soon. Yeah, I don't think putting Defiance on, say, AMC or FX wouldn't hurt the "synchronized" gaming.. It just wouldn't translate well for the target audience.

Still a bit under the weather.. Horrible night trying to sleep, so I'm just chillin'.

We had an auditor come through work today.....and who does he pick to audit?? That's right, this guy right here! Wouldn't have bothered me at all if I was doing my normal job, or a job that I know how to do, but they were short handed today so I was doing a job I do about once every 4 months......luckily the guy was pretty easy going and I was able to b.s. my way through it......the worst part is having the 3 highest bosses in the place with him.....and the one I don't get along with at all.....he happens to be the one who put me on probation...........! Oh well I'm home now.....gonna see what I can salvage of this beard......Might just have to shave it all off.....
