It took me a few days to work out the hot spots....I would get them all out, then they would come back a day later....haven't had a 6 volt hot spot on it for 2 days now!

I'm proud of you, buddy! Hotspots are a pain, I'm guessing your wick isn't oxidized properly or it isn't uniformed

I only oxidized the top half of this wick....thinking of trying one without oxidizing at all.....they say it can be done....probably not by me
