Good silver is a non-conductor, if I'm not mistaken,.as well as non corrosive. I could see them using that for whatever

Silver is more conductive than copper, but due to cost it is not practical in most cases. However, it is used in specialized equipment, such as satellites, and as a thin plating to mitigate skin effect losses

Have you seen the wire rope wick thread lately? It has kinda turned into a screw wick thread now.....think I need to find some wire rope and a screw. I went to stop yesterday at the hardware store on 14th & superior, then as I pulled in i remembered that they closed....

Haven't looked at it lately.. Fill me in!

Yeah, I still weep knowing they closed down my neighborhood HW store

So I just read this post from Bill Godshall...

Please note that Reynolds informed me two days ago that they are not backing off of their state legislative strategy (i.e. requiring "vapor products" to comply with many other existing state laws that were previously enacted to strictly regulate sales and purchases of cigarettes and other tobacco products via licensure). And they just introduced a bill in WV (SB 2778)

Here is Reynolds' action alert urging folks to support SB 802 in Oklahoma
Tranform Tobacco - State - Oklahoma

Great, big tobacco is going to try to get regulations in place so only they will be able to comply.....

More hogwash!

I sanded some contacts on the natural today.
I'm not a metallurgical engineer....but I'm not sure that's brass under there.
Does china have different metals than the rest of civilization?
It's "brassy" in color but seems way to soft for brass.
However...uncovering it did seem to make it hit better.
Oddly...since I sanded it clean, my goat has developed a third eye. It's cute and disturbing....

Could be low or rich low brass.. Possibly even aluminum brass which is used in non corrosive applications. Brass is pretty malleable but can be hardened

And here comes the giggle.. heehee!

Tee-hee....
Seriously though....I think this natural is the fijizzit....
I need to make a new wick and recoil. Going to Peter k the next one.

Sooo...I've seen this query before but don't know if I've heard a definitive on it.....
Can you over-oxidize?
Or does it just get to the point where you're really doing no more good?
