also when i tore one apart it appears to be nichrom or kanthal cant tell and then it looks like it has non resistant wire to make the contacts same as my drunker and i am not sure how using straight wire no non resistance is gonna mess with the ohms on these.

Not the best pic..but you can see the hole in the slit that I drilled out a little bit ago. Just need to smooth it out now. Do that on both sides and you really shouldn't ever get a dry hit like the stock heads. And you could then take it over 5 volts!

however if i rebuild them then ya will probalby get my honey to bore one out for me.. which reminds me start saving vivi nova heads that die lol
So the more i think about the more i am thinking i am just gonna use the nova heads i have bore them out and rebuild them and keep doing that it will save me money now i just need to find a source for wire as i am pretty sure i will be sticking with cotton or bamboo fibers.. not really tempted much by genesis style tanks until the ceramic gets better as that seem soooo much easier then mesh mesh annoys me.. however the braided wire that jake put up does look pretty easy but i like the fact that ceramic is not conductive so if its touching the bottom of your tank it wont hurt anything. Now if only someone can figure out a rebuildable cartomizer and i will be set

I wanted to try ceramic, but it's kinda pricey and it's really brittle. The wire rope is easy and it doesn't matter if it's touching the bottom, because the center post has a rubber grommet at the top and bottom, so basically the whole body inside and out is basically just a ground. As far as wire, so far I've bought all mine from eBay....I think I bought 50' for $10. I don't have a link, but if you search kanthal or nichrome on ebay you'll find some.
