I asked for either of you for a reason (the inventor of the Buzz and lover of the 801 Fusion cartomizers). Here is my dilemma: I purchased an 801 top cap for my Buzz to solely use it for Ikenvape's 801 Fusion cartomizers. Problem is, I get a really tight draw. I tried backing it off but still the same. I even tried 2 other Fusions on it. Same thing...tight draw. However, I have a Prodigy V3.1 with an 801 cap and the draw is perfect on all 3 cartomizers. Unfortunately, I want to use my Buzz because I like these cartomizers at 4.5v, not 3.7v. What am I doing wrong gentlemen?

I used 2 adapters on my Buzz to achieve the draw I love but is there a better solution than this?

Buzzkill, is there something that I can do to the cap to make the draw airier besides backing the carto off which isn't working anyways?

5C, I know these are one of your favorite carto's. Any input on getting them to work on my Buzz would be appreciated or do I have to stick to the adapters? I don't mind the adapters other than my mod grew a neck.

Thank you in advance.

Oh just re-read op.

I had the 801 on my Buzz and the Fusion draw was too tight. I thought 5C was crazy (I still do sometimes hehehe) and that the Gold V2's were much better. Then I put my 510 connection back on and used a adaptor, and it was perfect. I have two one from IKV that's about 3/8" that I was using. But I switched to the stealth from avidvapor and you can barely see it. both have given me a great draw.
I hope they can come up with better ideas so that you can get the 801 connection working.

I just put a fusion on my 801 connection and it's still a really tight draw. I put an IKV HVmini 801 and the draw is good. I think it's the Fusion. When you look on the bottom, the center post comes down a long way and is fairly close the the bottom of the threads, especially compared to the atty. I think on the Fusion, the center post is sitting right on top of the center screw.

Yep I believe that is it. Looking at both of my mods, the Buzz and Prodigy, it appears that the center screw on the Buzz is almost flush with the top while on the Prodigy, the center post is deeper into the cap. I was racking my brain trying to figure out what the difference was. Thank you Wharf...off to avid to get a couple of connectors.

Ya it's kind of a bummer, and I had the same thoughts as you. I loved the V2's and I wasn't going to get the Fusions. But since I had the 801 cap I thought what the hell. Then when it didn't work, (again, the part I thought 5C crazy) I put the Fusion down for a couple of weeks.

The silver lining ~ if I didn't have that top cap I wouldn't have bought the Fusion in the first place and with the adaptor I'm really loving them :)

BTW they're back in stock and also now in black.

I'm pretty well stocked on fusions. When Isaac reopened his store, I bought a bunch of fusions out of fear that I would run out and have to wait forever in a day to get them again. I got my hands on 30...I bought 15 and had my neighbor get 15. She loves the V2's also. I need to switch a couple with her and see how they are (if she'll give one or two up).

So is mine hehe, I need to get some stealth ones too.

Totally OT but I'll give you something to giggle about now. I had to run errands this afternoon and it was raining cats and dogs. My damned door handle broke on the driver side! Snap and it was in my hand. Pouring rain and I have to open the window and open my car door from the outside!! Grrrr
