You know, when you hit 10K, maybe you should consider contacting media sources saying: Here's a petition with 10,000 signatures. Maybe that would make them take notice and look into things from our side of the fence. It's the ole 'power in numbers' thing.

You could even do it now with all senate debating the tobacco Bill and say 'I've collected nearly 10K signatures'.

Or clog up all the Senators email boxes with all the signatures. Prob not such a good idea since that would just hack them off.

Of course, you've probable already thought of that stuff.

One question though: will this petition be staying in the spot it is now? Remember we will most probably be needing it in the EU soon too please...

I will talk with the ECA if I should close it or send it as is. When it closes it sends a notice to all who signed it that we achieved our goal of 10k signatures. Only benefit of closing it but I think we should leave it open as a diary of what people feel about their E-cigs some of the stories within it is compelling.
