ok so i'm trying to read through posts and I donno...it's just not sinking in....although only having an hour of sleep a day prob isn't helping

i'm not using any recipes as i'm more or less just playing at the moment :D first effort was pretty good just a concoction of everything lmfao kind of a my morning cup of coffee ;) going by smell til it smelled about right...
a little hazelnut, a little chocolate, a little cinnamon, a little coffee, a little bavarian cream and french vanilla for sweet added a pinch of 50/50 vg/pg and a few drops of 60mg nic into a half full blu java cart :) wasn't too bad lol

now working towards more of a clove flavoring (still using same cart so it's still got some coffee flavor which doesn't bother me)

but my question is...I want high flavor...eventually i'll get this whole ml down but atm lets guestimate with %

so would about 40% nic be about right or way too much? and then like 40% flavor and 20% pg/vg?
Just need an in general idea of flavor vs solvent vs nic
Thanks

How much nic depends on what sort of strength it is. What strength are you using and what strength do you want it to end up? I am also going to suggest you get one of the DIY programs available (free) and use that to do all the math for you. It will also help you keep track of what you do (if you save the file) so you can do it again or make improvements. Here are threads with links to the two I use.

High flavor has very little to do with high percentage of flavoring. Yes that may seem weird, but it's the fact of the matter.

40% nic would be about 400mg/ml which could be very dangerous. So knowing a bit about nic and what you need is rather important.

40% is rather high too and could mean no taste. Yeah, it sounds counter intuitive, and that's why I blogged about flavoring levels.

BTW: there is a vape meet in Greenfield tomorrow and a few mixers, including myself, will be be there. It may be a good idea to take a shot at attending. (Details in the links in my sig)

Somewhere out there
If you don't care about hitting an exact nic level, you can do "Simple DIY" http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...per-easy-diy-method-tape-2-a.html#post9293216. Basically, you start with pre-mixed base that is at, or just above the level you want to vape, then add your flavorings. I mostly do it this way because to me it doesn't matter if I vape 6mg or 5mg or even 4mg. I start with 6mg base and usually add 12% - 15% flavor and end up with about 5mg to 5.5mg/ml liquid.
