I was wondering if any has a good alternative to using cartos? I've been vaping for a few months now. I started with the Mistic ecig. I recently bought an 808 kit, I bought the 808 cause I can use them with the Mistic stuff I already had.
Now I'm realy starting to not like the carto system. First, the damn things don't last very long. Second, I've gotten several that don't work at all and few that tasted nasty even with the first use. I could keep going with the list of problems.
I've been trying to find some alternatives. It looks like I might have to buy yet another PV model, the 808 is pretty limited on upgrade options. Live and learn I guess.
What are most people using instead of the cartos?
I don't really want to mess around with the dripping Process of attys. I do need something on the smaller side, cause I work at a hospital and were scrubs all day long there just isn't any place for me to keep a larger tank system with me at work. I was checking out volcanos new "tankomizer" system. That might be the way to go for me. Does anyone use one of these and what are people's thoughts about "tankomizers"? Also, does anyone else besides volcano make them and are there any for the KR808? Lastly, what are some other compact options to cartomizers preferably something that will last a while before it has to be thrown out?

I have a KGO any ideas? I have had the same issues with my cartos, out of the five pack of 510's two were burnt no matter how much I flooded them, it seems I have to fill them a lot. I am new so I'm not sure what is normal... I think I get the understanding of the tank system, it looks less messy as well. Any advice as always would be appreciated!

I was having the same issues. I loved cartos.... for about an hour. Then they started tasting like crap and when you vape 3 juices at a time it gets expensive having to replace 3 cartos a day. I thought I hated dripping until I discovered 306 atty's. Now I don't think I'll ever use a carto again. I couldn't understand why so many people liked dripping. I get it now. If you don't like the idea of having to constantly drip, you can get a vapemate which works great. I just bought 4 of them. Yes 4. LOL Well 2 for my husband 2 for me. Best way to go in my opinion and I will save soooo much money now. :vapor:

Welcome to the forums!!! Soon you will come to the darkside of dripping. Till then...
I too started with an 808. Dont toss it or sell it, Im using mine as a backup since my primary PV just pooped out.
Okay, 808, no problem. I would suggest a "fluxomizer" at around 2.5-2.8 ohms, since thats what most cartos come at. A 1.1ml fluxomizer will last you about what a carto would maybe less, depending of use. Also, if you stick it in one of those lofty scrub pockets it may leak a bit. Not a biggie if you have an 808 manual battery. Definitely an upgrade from a cart in flavor imho. Its a top feeder so if your using a thick VG juice like bobas bounty, i usually tilt it back every few drags.

A have a good suggestion for you. Got this for my wifes kgo. A week using so far it doesnt leak. Easy to fill and you can easily see how much liquid is available. Holds about 1.6ml but it is super quick to fill. It is not low resistance though which is why it is not for me. I could live with it but i like my boge lr 2.0 ohm cartos better. My wife loves it though. I bought mine locally but the link will show you the same product.

Is there any vendor that has these? Or are they all out of stock?
Will the eturbo fit an 808 bat XL stick kind? There out of stock too! I guess that's how u can tell there a good product, no one has any!!!

For now I just bought an "ultimate CE2 Clearomizer XL"
Yesterday I bought some G4's but I think they have some issues.

Thanks for the input.

Gotvapes.com has the fluxes. if the eturbo has an 808 thread it shouldnt be an issue, but im not familiar with the eturbos. I had a couple of G4's and I didnt like them. With the fluxes, make sure you watch the video first. There is some work involved to get them working right, but after that its fairly straight forward and a good alternative to 808 carts. The fluxes are what made me venture into other setups.

Thank you!! I will look those up!!!! I'm trying the Clearomizer today which looks like that... but I'm still having issues. How many drops do you guys do when you drip? I got one of those too. LOL... I think I "got" a smorgasboard of everything. I really think this may be a hobby. Sometimes it looks bad... me with like six different cartos.... juices..... I've never done drugs but it does begin to look a little evil!

Check out the tanks that Vapor4Life sells. They are working pretty well for me. I'm using the smaller ones -- 3.5 ml I think. They seem a little clunky on an 808 stick battery but not too bad and you get used to it quickly. I only use them at home because I don't quite trust them to not leak. But I really have no reason for that distrust. Just seeing that container filled with juice makes me nervous. When I'm at work or out and about, I use regular old 808 cartomizers.
