I developed a habit of having a lit cigarette in my mouth while I work throughout the day and I'm finding that I really miss it sometimes.. Been checking out the Volts and Halos as they seem to be the most reputable as well as being nice and small. Can anyone who uses these models tell me if they are able to hold them in their mouth, hands-free, comfortably? Does the 65mm model make a significant difference over the longer 78mm model, in terms of being able to achieve this?

Thanks much in advance.

IMO it really doesn't work unless you have iron teeth and the jaw to go with it. Cigarettes are light, batteries are not. Even the smallest auto battery cigalike is too heavy to clench in your teeth hard enough that you won't drop it. Try something like an njoy king disposable - which has a plastic body and is about as lightweight as it gets. See how you like the feel of that first. And then bear in mind that even the smallest non disposable cigalike is gonna weight at least twice that much.

Interesting, do you have any first hand experience with this Dyanne? The Volt looks like a good product, for what I'm going for do you think it would be wise to go with the smaller 65mm model or is the weight/size difference pretty negligible? For the application I'm going for I figured I might be stuck with poly fill cartos but I'm curious if you can recommend any mini-tank setups for the Volt that I could stick a soft drip tip on.

I trust the kanger bcc stuff more than anything else I've tried and found these: Kanger E-Smart-C 808D Bottom Coil Clearomizer - EVcigarettes.com

So it seems this may be a futile pursuit. I think I've seen that product at the corner market, I'll try them out Rickajho.

Check out this forum: Joyetech eRoll *Mini*

Some of the posters mentioned using the E-roll the way you want to. And, the sale price is great for a trial.

I've used the E-Smart clearo, and have had no leaking issues with it. Mine is 510 threaded, for use on the Joye 510 battery. Note that the one you have linked to has a different thread.

Thank you! I'm intrigued, seeing a lot of feedback about successful hands free vaping with this unit as well. Of course, they already have a newer eroll-c model, more decisions ><

I still use Volt 78mm autos with CE3s for hands free operation and love them, after two and a half years of vaping. I also have some bigger stuff and use manual mods with Foggers and Erlkonigins, but my goto for when my hands are busy, like right now, is the Volt 78mm auto/CE3 combo. SI has excellent customer support, by the way.

2.2 ohms isn't high for a battery with limited current capacity. I rebuild the CE3s, since they are out of production, and build them at 2.4 ohms. With a rayon wick, they are better than a new CE3 and last far longer between rebuilds. Low ohms aren't necessary for a reasonable vape. That said, I'm using a Fogger with a .9 ohm build at 23 watts when I want some cloud production.

I began my vaping journey with Volts. One of the things I had to overcome was the need to hold it in my mouth. Just the wrong balance. It kept flipping out from between my lips into my lap. They were great devices and I used them exclusively for 6 months, and on and off for a year...but not by holding them in the same manner as a cigarette.

So what's the deal with the eroll replacement atomizer heads, they seem absurdly expensive and 2.2 ohms... isn't that a bit high of a resistance for 3.7?

They last me for months. I run pretty clear to unflavored liquids. I can pop the spike off, dry burn, rinse... It's the same head as the ego-c.

Volts the cig alike ones are easier to hold in the mouth when you need your hands with a soft drip tip. 78mm ones last around 2-3 hrs depending on how much you vape. A lot lighter trying to hold in your mouth than the bigger ego type ones those are too heavy. That is just my opinion. If you want a fatter heavier one that will last longer between charges perhaps consider a lanyard?
