Hello REOnauts!

Day 2, and still in love with my REO!!! :)

I am having one small problem. When I am vaping, I am getting a cutoff after about 3-4 seconds. I am using boge 2.0 510 cartos on it. And, to make it even weirder, it doesn't cut out everytime. Just every few hits. I am using Trustfire protected 14500 batteries. I had no problem yesterday at all. In fact, I used the same battery for almost 24 hours!

When I went to switch out the battery today, the first 3 I used would not fire except for a split second. The 4th one I put in works, but I am experiencing a cutoff that I did not experience yesterday. Also, noticed that when I pushed down on the firing button, sometimes it tried to eject the battery out, kinda like there was too much pressure on the top of the battery when I pushed down.

These batts are about 2 months old, probably have 60 charges on each of them, never had any problems with them in my wetbox.

What do y'all think may be the issue?

Okay, I think the major malfunction was the carto!

Put an 808 with adapter on it, all batteries work!! Loading up a fresh 510 and making sure it works just as good.

Believe it or not, in my 7 months of vaping, I have NEVER had a carto die on me! I usually just toss them every 5-7 days because it gets gunky and I want a fresh one. Now I know what carto failure is like.

WHEW! I was starting to get a little panicky! I will let you know if this problem persists. THANK YOU!! So much!!!

ETA--the new 510 carto works with ALL batteries! You guys rock. Thank you so much for the help!!

The thing with troubleshooting a REO mishap is that it HAS to be either the atty, battery or the REO, and it's almost never the REO. :)

Glad you figured it out!!

Congrats on finding the problem. I will add operator error to the list as well :) but I agree its almost never the REO!
