Hey everyone
So I've let a few friends try out my reo and they all just mash my button in. They will push so hard that my button top gets compressed all the way down and gets stuck. One time the firing button even got stuck down and I had to take the battery out and push it back up. They just don't understand the words push lightly!! Anyone else have that problem when letting friends try out their reo???anyways... So my problem is now it seems the silver flap that comes down to make contact with the battery is a bit bent or something and it just doesn't feel right when I'm pushin down on it. Is there any tricks to make it work like the day I bought it??? Or is it gonna be like this forever because the button got pushed down so hard??? Any help would be great!!!
Thanks!!!!!!!

Edit** the button is really loose now and it spins on and off really easy now and when I push down on it, it almost has no like tension

O and one more question anyone try the shorty cartos from avidvapers?? I vape mainly tabbacco juices and want to know what ohm cartos work best. Right now I use boge lr ones but not really satisfied.

Hi Dman :)
Actually, I used to be a button masher until I figured out that all I needed to do was make a simple connection. So the silver flap or positive battery contact has a bent tip naturally. However, repeated mashing can bust the contact, not on the tip, but further back. Now over time, the button should loosen up normally for a smooth easy action. Many of mine have little resistance in the button, and not that much play either. If you feel that there is something wrong with it, you can always contact Rob to try to troubleshoot it. Worst case, you can send it in for repair. So all is not lost. :)

I'd answer your question about cartos, but I don't use them...so it's best if I don't.

I use regular 1.7 cartos and did try the shorties 1.7 I thought the vape would be warmer but it wasn't it was just the same as the regular 1.7. I get the regular 1.7 from Robs site and use all the time, so I tried the shorties and they were as good but not better in any way, to my taste. The only real difference is cosmetic, the way it looks. Good Luck.

Hello dman87 I wish I could help from here but I would really need to have the unit in hand to diagnose the mod . Your welcome to send the unit to me I would be happy to bring it back to new condition . You could always get a rebuild kit and do it yourself if your mechanically inclined

How's that for service? :toast: Hat's off Rob!

Oh thanks for all the quick replies as usual from you guys. Well I guess I'm just gonna have to deal with it cuz I can't send my reo in and go back to my old mods and ego. I'll just have to wait till I get a grand or mini 2.0 before I can send it in. Planning to put an order in probably around oct for my own bday gift:D.
As for the carto I think I'll try the shorty ones out since I like to keep the reo looking small.
Thanks again!!
