1. I have an extra AVS and have it connected to a SS control tank that was on one of my GGs for sale. A couple of people are saying to me "its a UFS control tank". What does that mean? Is it strictly because it is SS and when AVS were made they were aluminum?

2. Also, someone keeps asking if another control tank I had was a GGTS control tank or a UFS control tank. I took it off of a GGTS and it has the short atty connection not the long one used with the UFS. Is the length of the atty connection the only difference between the two?

Thanking you in advance.

Mike

there is no control tank Mike. Its name is collector tank because it collects the liquid that leaks from atomizers. (control ring is the ring that adjust the air and its attached to the collector tank)
AVS doesnt have a collector tank. GGTS and UFS have a collector tank. The GGTS collector tank is 1mm smaller than the UFS collector tank and its internal threads (where the the AVS or the UFS or Iatty with its special base or Ody with its special base get screwed) start from the beggining. The UFS tank is 1mm longer and the internal threads that I said before starts 1,5mm after the top of the collector tank. :)

GGTS comes with its own collector tank Mike. There is no way for Bruce to send you the wrong item. Bruce's "mistake" is only on description. Its "collector tank" and not "control tank", thats all :)
the 4 GGTSs that I bought with UFS, now I wonder if they were GGTS tanks of UFS...?
