Do you know where i can find an aluminum control ring? I just got my first ggts today. it's an aluminum but the control ring is stainless steel so it looks a bit off. i'm also looking for a clear tank for the avs v1. were any of these made? thanks.

Very difficult to find an alu control ring darkcross, you may get lucky but most of them are securely on Alu GGTS's. As far as the clear tank, Imeo never made these but I have seen aftermarket one's.
thanks sir! what about brass parts? are they hard to come by too? can you suggest any stores/sites that may carry them?
GGs are made via preorders only and its a little difficult to have parts if you didnt preorder them Dark. But I have some brass control rings, so can you tell me from where you buy your GG stuff so I can send one ring to your GG seller?
I haven't tried ordering from anywhere yet cause i got my gg from the clasifieds. But if i'll order, it'll be from COV since I'm in the US. I'm really enjoying this unit. Haven't used my other mods since i got this. The thing I'm really looking for is an aluminum control ring but if that's not possible, the brass ring will do for now. The SS looks really off cause it's the only SS part of my unit. If it's brass, maybe it'll look better cause i have a brass telescope. Thanks for making these wonderful products.
Oh well. If that's the price of beauty, I can live with it. But I'll still try to look for an aluminum one. Hope there's a lone one waiting to be put on my GG.

Thanks....life has been pretty good on the personal side. My Grandson is 2 now and is the joy of my life.
I dropped out of the forum after getting burned once too many times. A guy contacted me and asked if I would help him out and fix his GGTS (he screwed it up big time).....looked more like a sewer pipe than a GGTS. After spending a couple of weeks restoring it (for free) and returning it to him; not only did he stiff me for the return postage, he never even said thanks. It's not the first time that's happened but it will be the last.
After a while that kind of stuff gets old; not mad at anyone....just had enough of that sort of thing.
I'll drop by the forum when I've got something interesting going on. Hope all is well with you, Imeo, and all the GG vets

Sad to hear that buddy but don't let one bad experience keep you away from the rest of us who know you and have the highest respect for you pal. I think individuals who do things like that should be named and shamed.
Yeah I remember that Para, it's sad that honesty and trust have taken the backseat to deceit and dishonesty in our modern society. I believe however that we mustn't allow that to change the few of us who still have sound values. Good will always prevail.
This might be the biggest disappointment I have read in a LONG time.

I know what happened Para but I also know that you are a great guy. So keeping yourself away from us just because some people doesnt know anything about behaving to other people, is not what we all like and I am sure you dont like it too. I am very glad that your personal life is wonderful but your digital life needs some care too buddy
