I'm not a super heavy vapor and just wanted a simple easy setup. I use an evod kit (kanger 650 battery with evod clearo), and was satisfied with that. Tonight I noticed the top is cracking off from the inside I like to vape root beer and menthol, so I'm sure it was just a matter of time. I'm not very knowledgeable about gear... Can someone recommend something small and simple that's not so delicate? I'm actively trying to quit smoking, and my only backups are some flings.

Get the glass upgrade to the evod:
either miniprotank2v2 or the evod glass.

there's a few other glass equivalents to the evod; I think aspire has a k1? but the miniprotank2 is like a more prevalent item and you'll find replacement coils easily - same coil as the evod;
the downside is the miniprotank doesn't have the metal jacket around it like the evod has.
The smoktech aro has the metal jacket; but then it doesn't have replaceable drip tip.

Hey Alice,

was in the same boat as you a bit ago. I ended up buying the mini davide. And though it is nice, it is sort of a pain to re-fill. You want a glass clearomizer, or a glassomizer, the pyrex glass tank will keep the more acidic juices from cracking the tank. The kanger evod glass was my go to for a whole year, but the new coils always gave me a burnt taste, so I switched. I say go with the Aspire K1 glassomizer. As long as you don't mind that it only has a 1.5mL capacity for juice you should be fine. I really like the Aspire BVC replacement coils (Bottom Vertical Coils) that the K1 uses (these are the same coils that the anyvape mini davide uses). The kanger coils are BDC (bottom dual coils), which are only ok in my opinion.

this is a link to the k1 aspire glassomizer... it is only $8.45 and fits with the 650 battery just fine. Go for the higher resistance BVC coils if you get this since your battery is so small (only 650 mah) this will help your coil last longer. The coils on this website are only $10.95 for a five pack. The five pack should last a month or so, depending on how much you vape.

I usually buy our vaping gear online. I like Sun Vapers or Mt. Baker Vapor. They both carry the Protank 2 Mini and coils, both have reasonable pricing, decent shipping, and fast shipping times. I have ordered multiple times from both these vendors, and I trust them to send genuine Kanger products and replacement parts. The Protank 2 Mini will use the same coils as your Evod tank, but it is a glass tank that will take any eliquid that you put into it.

    Take a browse thru the Tastypuff website (www DOT tastypuff DOT com). They've got some basic eGo sticks and lots of juice flavors. They have a Rasta Rootbeer and a Menthol flavored juice, I haven't bought either one, but I am a happy customer. Their juices are (according to them) about 50/50 PG/VG. They have 0, 10, and 21mg nic levels. The company is in New Mexico.
