The JOYE EGO-C TWIST MANUAL BATTERY at Mike & Carol's Internet Store this thing is outstanding. I use it now before grabbing my ProVari.
How about a roughstack?? Very in-expensive and made very well. Just a thought and I think you can pick one up for around 45 smackers!!
Variable Voltage will definitely change the "vaping" game for you. I purchased a Ego-twist battery and was very impressed how it changed the way my juice tastes at different voltages. I'm still going to get a Provari in the near future, but the twist opened my eyes to VV. $30 well spent.

If you would like some TH, I can recommend the V-Mod for you. It is an atomizer-system, which have the best TH I think, especially with fresh batteries and with a strong liquid. Of course we are different so if you like the atomizers, try it and buy it!
How about a G6 or Volt. They won't cost you $200+ and look big and clunky. Several new people have stated they get great throat hit from these models along with fantastic battery life.

On the $75 CCV link is the newest Lavatube version and probably the best introduction to variable voltage if you don't want to, or can't afford to, spring for the Provari.
If you look at one of the variable voltage eGos, be aware that there is a significant voltage drop with those. So if you have settings from 3.4 to 4.8 Volts, you are still going to be well below the range of what is considered high voltage vaping, even at the highest setting.
I second the CCV kit. Inexpensive and will do pretty much anything you need. Even if you don't go crazy upping voltages it still hits better than my VV ego batteries do (haven't tried the Twist yet though).
IMO if you'd like to treat yourself *and* save some money, start by tossing those dual coil cartos in a drawer. Then order some io6 1.5 & 1.8 Ohm atomizers and io6 drip tip(s) from here: Atomizers - IkenVape Store Follow the recommendations on the site regarding their care and these things just keep on working. IkenVape's 510 attys are also excellent; the io6 is my personal preference and is a custom re-design of the 306, slightly larger in diameter. All fit the 510 threading without an adapter.
IKV also offers their Cannon atty, another custom design combining an 801 atomizer with a 510 threading. I haven't personally tried these but intend to with my next order.
As for the DC cartos, I'd suggest saving them until you have more voltage to feed 'em; they just can't cook properly at 3.4 or even 3.7 volts no matter what kind of juice we're trying to vape.

There are so many options now for vaping that your head will swim. My recommendation would be to decide first what you would like to try.. bottom feeder, tank, mechanical, VV and so forth. Decide then what batteries you will want to use (are you more concerned about mod being compact or battery life?). If you buy a high end mod and don't care for it, in most cases you can resell and recover most if not all of your investment. Look at pictures of different set ups to see what is most appealing to you and shop! Have fun.. make sure to keep everyone posted on what you get and how you like it.
